This is a classic pub, with great service and delicious food. We understand that during high season there is frequently live music, but we came mid-May, so there wasn't any. We ordered a Corned Beef Sandwich ($19) which came with loads of beef and locally made ballpark mustard, with pickle on sourdough bread. This was delicious though the bread was disappointingly soggy. It came with shoe string fries, which were amazing. On request we got a side of roasted red pepper aioli to enjoy with our fries. Our second order was the Hot Honey Fried Chicken sandwich ($20). It’s a small sandwich, which makes it expensive for the quantity, but it is good size you’re looking for a lighter meal. The chicken was juicy, the sauce was medium spicy and really tasty, and the batter was very crunchy. This went really well with the compilation salad (goat cheese, lettuce, zucchini, cranberries). It was a great meal and we’ll definitely be back. $92 for our two dishes, 3 Waupoos ciders on tap, tax and tip. * The food menu is small, with just enough variety to give choices and feel confident they can nail each dish. The drinks menu has lots to offer in the way of beer and cider. We definitely recommend dropping in!

Came in for dinner with my boyfriend and parents on taco Tuesday. The place was full so I was thankful we made a reservation. It was also a good sign we were in for great service and grub. From the moment we arrived, we had exceptional service. We had great seats to enjoy the live music too! My boyfriend and I opted to try the acoustic jam burger. His topped with goat cheese and bacon and mine with Smokey cheddar cheese on a gluten free bun. The burgers were excellent! We also got a house salad which was very fresh. My mom went with the tacos, two shrimp and one chorizo. She thoroughly enjoyed both. My dad got the steak sandwich, which he said was delicious. Overall a great place with stellar service and entertainment. Would highly recommend checking the place out.

I came here with a friend as we were visiting the area. They usually have live music but for now there are no live shows due to the situation with the pandemic. The tables were limited in number and spaced well apart; we went for a late lunch but did not wait too long for a table. Staff were nice and helpful. Food was great! I ordered the Chicken strip and dip. The Chicken strips were really fresh, not oily and crispy/crunchy, perfect for me! The salad was awesome and tasted really fresh. It had a light, tangy dressing with it. The atmosphere was great. We also tried a local cider which was also awesome called The County Cider, Blackberry and Peach flavour. We ended up visiting the Cider place (a 15-17 minute drive) and stocked up on the wonderful local drink.

We were extremely disappointed with our dining experience particularly since the food in Picton is usually quite good. The service was awful and terribly slow. It took nearly an hour to receive poutine, the "open faced ribeye" sandwich, and a children's order of chicken tenders. When said food arrived, it was not brought by the waitress and was absolutely ice cold. The fries were overcooked and tasted like cardboard. The aforementioned ribeye sandwich contained about two slivers of meat and the advertised caramelized onions were noticeably absent. I ate the sandwich in all of three bites and this cost $16 dollars mind you. A side of fries was not included. The ever so scarce portion of poutine was overly salty and the gravy was fresh out of the can. Three curds were randomly plopped onto the serving. After waiting another ten minutes for the bill to be retrieved, we had to amble to the bar ourselves in order to reunite with the waitress. Overall, the value was terrible and the environment cramped, stuffy, and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this establishment and this is coming from someone who would gladly expend significant sums for a proper meal. There are better places in town. EDIT: After posting my review on facebook, the owner took it upon herself to send me a private message! The customer is always...

My partner and I are always looking forward to our Friday.night take out from Acoustic. For the most part our meals are always consistent (taste/quality) and just as we ordered. But last nights order was quite disappointing. Both of our burgers were extremely rare.. in addition to requesting specific sides for our burgers. It appeared that the order was taken down properly on the receipt, but it was frustrating to get home with the food, open the take out box, and to see that the sides were not as we ordered. I also had one previous experience, that I did not speak up about..hoping it was a one off..but unfortunately that's not the case now. I had ordered a compilation salad for take out, gotten home, and there was no dressing on the salad.. or a container provided with dressing on the side. This was also a very disappointing experience. I very much appreciate good customer service and ensuring that paying customers are getting exactly what they ordered. I hope that the great staff that I have so far interacted with during my take out stops are able to be more conscious in checking inside the boxes to ensure the food being sent out is...
