My girls and I had a bachelorette weekend and for our last day (Sunday) we decided to stroll around before heading home. After brunch we wanted coffee to bring for the road and decided to support local since the inside of the store looked nice. This was around 2pm and one of my girl’s order had been made incorrectly by your male staff. (Sorry not sorry, the way he acted was not something a barista should do and I take pride in my history as a barista and never in my 5 years did I and would I act the way he did to a customer so I will not be calling him that since he does not deserve it)

My girl had explained to him what her order was and he had ASSUMED that she wanted an iced drink and when she reiterated that she never said she asked for a cold drink, your male staff started giving her attitude and CHUCKED the coffee grounds at my girls direction. Some grounds hit her btw but she did not say anything, even to us, until we had left your establishment.

If you cannot admit and take accountability for a mistake you made, the least that you can do is ask someone else to do it for you and not lash out at your customers. It was a very unprofessional behaviour coming from a local shop that we decided to support as visitors to your county.

This place might be nice to its locals since it’s got a high rating but unfortunately not very kind to visitors. I hope you train your staff better so that nobody else will have to experience that kind of disrespect my girl experienced. He was lucky we are very civilized people and not some Karen who would’ve made a scene right then and there. Very disappointing and will not recommend this shop to my followers and...

I'd like to start off by saying my review has little do to with the staff. They were nice. However, the drink, atmosphere and cleanliness was what lead me to a 1 star rating.

I order a cappucino "for here" which my partner and I stated twice during our order. Out drinks however were served in paper cups. Despite what seemed to be a fresh stack of mugs sitting beside the espresso machines. Normally this wouldn't lead to a 1 star review but as our stay continued, the negatives just kept on coming. After recieveing our drinks we went to find a place to sit. Not a clean table in sight. If a table was not occupied it was cluttered with dirty dishes and garbage from previous patrons or childrens books from the in-house play area. After cleaning a table and chairs full of crumbs off ourselves (the cleanest of all places to sit) we finally got to enjoy our drinks. Or so we thought. The cappucino I ordered was burnt and tasted as such. The chai latte my partner ordered was thankfully not and was actually very nice. (Get the chai latte). We spent about 10 minutes in this establishment and were ready to go. Thankfully our drinks were already in to go cups (a premonition?)

The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered! Truly!! She couldn’t have more contempt and attitude while helping me and blatantly served two others their orders before she sent me on my way. The lack of friendliness, attitude and condescension is something I don’t want anyone else to encounter here. For anyone else who is choosing to visit, I hope she chooses to learn from this so that someone else won’t feel so out-of-place like I, guilty for something (who knows what?!), left feeling so angry, and they will be given basic curtesy with the feel-good notion that someone was able to support a small business at this time. I wish I never walked in! I wish I could take my support back!!
