Puffed and Stuffed — Restaurant in Ontario

It was okay, I don't know if I'll order from here again. Ordered the koshari, beef puffs, and umm ali. There was a buy one get one on both the koshari and the beef puffs on Uber Eats, which made it a decent value overall.

This was my first time having koshari, but my partner is Egyptian and grew up with koshari back home. We agreed that both the rice and pasta were quite overcooked, the rice was wet and mushy and the pasta was too soft. There was very little tomato sauce, so the koshari was quite dry despite the wet rice and soft noodles. The sauce had a nice flavour. It definitely has the potential to be good, if the rice and pasta were properly cooked, and there was more sauce (which should also be on the side, as opposed to already on top when it is delivered).

The beef puffs were good, but a little soggy. The sauce that came with them was different, and we really enjoyed it. They reheated nicely in the airfryer.

The umm ali arrived cold, and we should have reheated it before eating because it was kind of gelatinous. My partner did not enjoy it very much. I found it bland, but I didn't mind it.

It's nice to see Egyptian options, but I think we will try other places before we think about ordering...
