The food at Quesada is by far the best light Mexican style food I've ever had. I mean "light Mexican" in that it's not a full restaurant with a gourmet Latin food focus. Quesada focuses on the Mexican basics: burritos, quesadillas, tacos, salads, that kind of thing. However, what it does, it does fabulously. The restaurant is extremely clean, well cared for, and all of the food is fresh and healthy. There's no difference between the ingredients available here and the food you'd buy yourself at the grocery store. Except Quesada knows how to put it all together like no one else.
The basic choices are steak, pork, chipotle chicken, grilled chicken, shrimp and fish (tilapia), or veggie, or bean (black and pinto) for non-meat-eaters. On top of that, you have choices of rice, four kinds of salsa, red onion, jalapenos, corn, fresh cilantro, lettuce, tomato and cheese, and sauces (sour cream, chipotle and habanero).
Prices range from $5.50ish to $11, though with an $11 burrito, you're getting a massive 14" and when you load it with everything, you can feed a small army. I'm a pretty big guy, and can put back a lot, and the 14" burrito is large even for me. You're getting what you pay for.
What really stands out for me with Quesada (aside from the incredible quality) is that the food is extremely healthy and low calorie. All fresh foods, so no preservatives or canned nonsense. A 12" bean burrito is somewhere around 500 calories fully loaded (compare that to a Whopper, which is smaller, at 750).
If I didn't already have a good job, I'd buy a franchise. They're...
Read moreI have gone here a couple times for their burritos. It is decent for any Mexican food in the east end of London, Ontario. The food is not too flavourful, and the meat gets a bit dry. The jarrito or other drinks are a bit too overpriced. Staffs are nice, but they don’t have any seafood items in stock. At least it is a bit better than the Burrito Boyz on Wonderland Road across from Costco. The chicken and food taste bland there. For now, I am going to be wise where is my money is going to. I would rather go to that Mexican restaurant the one on Springbank Road plaza beside Giant Tiger. I would rather go to Chipotle the one on Fanshawe Park Road across from Masonville Mall. The meat taste fresh and flavourful. Refillable drinks, clean, better service and better worth of your spending at Chipotle as I gone there a few times and I am 13 kilometres away from there. Step it up, Quesada of Clarke Road in the east end of London, Ontario. Do your or the one at Wonderland Road by Rona Hardware Store can keep up the pace. You don’t seem too interested your customers and satisfaction. You don’t put too much pride on your food. This is decent but it needs to be better. I want to see seafood items in stock. The pricing should be more affordable; if you are opening a location that is more low income especially at the east end. Every taste of your products and service in every location must be the same. I will give Quesada another try, but you need to go an extra step to get there. At least it is better than the other fast food chain where the food is...
Read moreAbsolutely dreadful experience ordering from Quesada through Uber Eats. We got their “buy one get one free” veggie burrito deal, expecting a decent meal, but what we received was a complete letdown. The burrito was basically a tortilla wrap stuffed with rice and little else—barely any veggies or flavor. It felt like they cut every corner possible to skimp on the deal. If they can’t afford to honor the offer properly, they shouldn’t advertise it at all! For comparison, we ordered the same deal from Burrito Boyz, and the difference was night and day—properly filled, flavorful burritos. I’ve uploaded photos of both orders to show the stark contrast in quality. Quesada’s offering was embarrassing, and it’s clear they don’t care about customer satisfaction or repeat business. I’ll never order from here again and strongly advise others to avoid this place. Save your money and go to Burrito...
