Rose's Tree Of Life - Caribbean Delight — Restaurant in Ontario

This is going to be a bit of a long review because of how much I love this place. I’ve been coming to Rose tree of life since they opened on Wonderland.

I started coming here when I was in high school and when I am back in London I make it a priority to stop by and grab something.

Firstly, this is the best Jamaican food in London and probably Ontario.

Secondly, it is the best family run business run by the kindest people. I cannot express enough how much I would recommend roses for the amazing quality atmosphere and to support the wonderful family that owns roses tree of life.

Finally, this food is always reasonably priced and the portions are always great. I cannot stress enough how great this place really is.

My last thing to say is anyone that has ever gave this place a negative review is one out of their mind two lying to themselves or three doesn’t know what good food and...

Ok so honestly....this place is AMAZING! My family used to order from the restaurant that used to be in that location all the time (fish and chips special)...when we drove by tonight to order we noticed they were no longer in business. So we took a chance and went in to Rose's and we are SO glad we did. The fish and chips were delicious, the fries were 100% better than the fries at the other restaurant that was there, and omg, the coleslaw...best I've EVER tasted- 10/5 stars!!!!!!! Please never change it or tell me before you do LOL. My dad talked to the lady (Rose) who runs it and its SO inspiring that she is doing this business all on her own!!!! I was really excited about getting some Jamaican food. I haven't had some for awhile. (Take out that is) I've had my share of Caribbean food as I was married to a Jamaican. The food took about 1 1/2 hrs to arrive. So I'm expecting fresh food and/or cold food. We'll, I got the latter and it was not fresh. Not sure who's responsible for the order being cold. Both were very dry, but one of the fried was ok. I was so disappointed. I had debated whether to order from another (Carribbean Stove Pickup) Food for thought. Anyways, it was not what I had expected based on the reviews. The Rice n Peas didn even hit the Richter scales. When you are paying $20 a mean you expect better. Not sure why I didn't today.
