Runt Club Pub — Restaurant in Ontario

Went to the Runt Club a couple weeks ago with 4 other people and had a brutal experience. I have been many times before and have always enjoyed it. I don't know if the night was a one-off but it definitely appeared like the whole place has gone downhill. The food was horrible. My friend had a chicken sandwich and fries. Along with the fries coming out limp, steamed and unsalted, he found 3 chicken bones in his sandwich. My other friend's calamari tasted like it was right out of a frozen box. My arancini were ok but not authentic and gummy. If the poor food wasn't enough, someone at our table left their sunglasses on the table when we left (his fault i know). He called later that evening and was assured by the person on the phone that they had the glasses and they were '"safe and sound and come pick them up whenever". He went the next day and was told that they were no longer there and they weren't sure where they went. He called again the day later and was told again that the glasses aren't there. He then emailed twice the following week and still has not gotten a response. My only guess is that a staff member stole them. Very unfortunate experience for...

We went to this restaurant today and it was nothing short of an outstanding experience. I ordered a pizza and honestly, it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life — absolutely sensational. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the crust was cooked to perfection, and every bite felt like a little piece of heaven.

My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, and I have to say, it was incredible — probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tried. I was amazed at how they managed to take something so simple and turn it into something so extraordinary.

For dessert, my husband chose the tiramisu, and he absolutely loved it. Light, creamy, and full of flavor — the perfect ending to an already perfect meal.

This place is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in town. The food, the quality, the attention to detail — everything was just exceptional. I simply loved it and will definitely be coming back. A truly memorable...

I’ll start off by stating that the food here is excellent. We had various pasta dishes, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Good portions. Everything was hot and fresh. I did email the week before we went, because we were a party of six (SO, kids and my parents) and I inquired about making a reservation because of the size of our party and I got a response indicating that it wasn’t necessary, but it probably would’ve been a good idea because when we arrived, there was only one waitress and she seemed a little perturbed at first when I said that I didn’t make a reservation. I felt bad for overwhelming her, but the service was good. I would definitely go again as there was plenty to try...
