fantastic food & service!! Been looking for a new Thai place since the Byron one went down hill, and this place is it! The serving portions were enough for the meal & lunch the next day. Spring rolls were delicious and everything was so fast. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the chef (possible owner?) came out to say hello and introduce himself. To top it off, a lady came in for take out while we were eating but seemed to have trouble with her payment card, so the man behind the counter paid for it and sent her on her way. Talk about “family-like” service. I have told all my friends and family about this place and they are all going to give it a try! Can’t wait to go back for another delicious pad Thai meal.
EDIT: We heard the place was under new management which was heartbreaking to us. We became very close with the owners & staff over the last few years, and we were regulars. We decided to give it a shot under new management and it changed completely. The pad Thai was very dry, to which the server admitted they mistook my order for take out and it had been sitting in a container on the heat lamp for a while before dumping it on a plate and serving it to me. I had a half an egg worth of egg shells mixed into my meal (the server gave me 30% off which was nice, although I ate less than a quarter of my meal so it was an odd percentage for them admitting forgetting my food under a heat lamp and finding egg shells). It’s a shame that the last family sold it, we certainly won’t be back now. Thankfully we have...
Read moreI wanted to reach out regarding my recent takeout experience at this restaurant, which, I must admit, left me quite disappointed.
After hearing such wonderful reviews and eagerly anticipating my order, I was really looking forward to enjoying the chicken pad Thai, fresh veggie rolls, and chicken satays. However, upon arrival, the heat inside the premises was overwhelming, and it saddened me to see your staff struggling in those conditions due to the lack of air conditioning.
Unfortunately, the food did not meet the expectations I had based on your stellar rating. The mango salad consisted solely of chunks of mango with no carrots or onion, while the fresh rolls were primarily filled with iceberg lettuce and very little cucumber. The chicken satay was overcooked, and the accompanying sauce seemed thin and lacking flavor. To top it off, the pad Thai had very little chicken and tasted surprisingly like ketchup.
I truly wanted to love this meal, and I’m sorry to say that it fell short of what I had hoped for. I appreciate the hard work your team puts in, especially during such challenging conditions, and I sincerely hope that my experience was an exception rather...
Read moreUpdate: it’s very clean and pretty inside. Drinks are still served in cans, and water in bottles, so cups would be nice. Otherwise it’s still awesome. Anyone that has complained about the quality of ingredients is just being negative. It’s very good.
Be warned, Spicy is Spicy!🌶️ 🥵. A 7 out of 10 on spice is all I’m willing to go and have it stay enjoyable. Probably get a 6 next time.
This is a small little dive establishment, so don’t come here for your fancy dinner or try to impress your boss or your fiancé’s parents. However, the food is amazing. It’s fresh and it is very very delicious and you will not regret coming to this place. I think if you did “take out” food sits in a bag or container, it steams and heats itself differently than what is a served table side. So if you do order it “to go” consider that and give the chef the benefit of the doubt . But if you come for dine-in service, although the atmosphere may not be fine dinning (more like a small diner) the food is absolutely delicious and will knock your socks off! They know how to cook and the food is awesome. #the...
