Would not recommend this location at all! This was my first time at this location and I cannot believe how rude the two women were working the counter.
When I went up to place my order all she said was “when you’re ready” in a rude tone. Not, “Hi, Hello, what can I get you today?” She was so rude right from the moment we walked in. Acting annoyed that we were even there. When I said what I wanted she said nothing at all in return — didn’t ask about extras, if I wanted a combo nothing. Didn’t even say a word. So then i proceeded to continue ordering with zero response from her. I asked for a small meatball for my son and I was looking at the menu trying to find a kids menu. I couldn’t see it on the board, so I asked if it came with a drink and her response was “you just ordered a small sub if you want a drink, make it a combo.” Her tone was so unpleasant and unprofessional. My daughter asked for no onions and her sub had onions. I can usually overlook small errors as this but when you’re being treated like you’re bothering them it’s very upsetting.
We felt so uncomfortable eating in there as they were acting annoyed by our very presence. The store was not busy it all and it was like they didn’t want us in there. They said absolutely next to nothing to us.
I don’t need over the top enthusiasm in customer service but when I come into an establishment and spend $75 on four subs I expect at least a “Hello”, “Have a nice day.”, something.
This was absolutely ridiculous service and whoever owns this location should seriously talk to their staff about customer service. I will never come to this...
Read moreFirst time trying Firehouse. Big expectations given others word of mouth reviews. Always been a Subway person. Kept it basic, went Hook and Ladder on white. Asked for pickles, black olives, and banana peppers to be added, as I was told they can be added for no charge. You can't really see much of your sandwich being prepared, so how could I know if they put those items on as requested until I start eating it? Spoiler alert, they never got put on. Strike 2! (Sorry, Strike 1 was price; basic foot long $17). Service was friendly. No issues there. Store was clean.. lovely! Packaging; nice sturdy box, completely palm-able.. halllalllerrrrr. Now... The moment of truth.. the goodness of the Sammie. Strike 3. And not cause it wasn't a deli Sammy, but because they hype was that it was far superior to something basic like Subway. Maybe. Maybe their meats are higher quality.. maybe their bread is organic.. but all I know is how it tastes and how it eats. The sandwich is messy and challenging to handle. My toppings never got added and frankly the sandwich tasted like nothing. I could taste the sweetness from the mustard.. but that was it. Otherwise it just felt like a mass of calories going in. To be honest, at least at Subway you can direct your sub traffic and add the flavours you like. Firehouse.. for price and goodness, I shall not be returning. All love, no hate, just bang for...
Read moreFirst time coming here..first impressions are everything. I walk in, have all the employees looking at me, shouting "welcome to firehouse" but in a I hate my job type of voice. Their cheapest sub is a medium (just a tad over 6 inches from the looks of it). I ordered their original meatball sub. Now I expected like other sub places to go down the line and the employees would ask if i'd like extra items on my sub, but No..they said take a seat while we prepare your food, which I can't see what they're doing. Are they doing it with their bare hands or do they have plastic gloves? I have no clue cause the counter is too high and im 6'7 and still can't see. Anyways, I get my sub after about 6-7 min--5 employees on the line including cashier. I open the container, and I was really disappointed...literally it was just sauce, 4 meatballs, and the cheese tasted like plastic. There was more bread then there was items. If you want extra items, their menu says per item $1-2 dollars. I don't know if they're trying to cash in because of the wage increase, but from a customer price point, the prices are extremely expensive for what little you actually do get. Now I know why I always see this...
