i went to this tacobell this passing friday (march 7th) to get my hubby and i something for dinner. we went through the drive thru and placed our order. my hubby forgot his glasses at home, he has a hard time reading the menu without them so i read the menu items to him (he specifically wanted a box meal, but wasn't sure what was included in each one so i listed them off to him). he ended up deciding he wanted a deluxe box meal and i wanted a crunch wrap combo with a few value menu items on the side. the total came to $42.00, i paid, we got our food then i pulled into a parking spot in the parking lot so we could eat our meals. as we started taking the items out of the bag & having our first few bites, my boyfriend realized he was given the wrong box meal. he asked for a deluxe box, but got a value box. i went back through the drive thru and told them our order was messed up. we drove up to the window and this guy came over (not sure what his name was, i found out after calling their location to complain that he's a manager apparently) and argued with me for 20 minutes saying i didn't order a deluxe box, i ordered a value box. i don't know how to place an order, i should order the right items, etc etc etc. he never once apologized for the mistake and blamed me the entire time. i personally work in customer service (literally at a fast food restaurant similar to tacobell) and it is extremely inappropriate and disrespectful to argue and blame a customer then refuse to give them the correct items when they ask for it (i was even willing to pay the difference, give the items i didn't want back and he said that it doesn't work like that). he should've just apologized and gave me the correct items. he was so ignorant. i have never encountered such an unprofessional human being in my life. he was waiting for us to storm off and when we didn't he finally gave us the correct items we ordered (he was obviously very irritated). by this point my food (that i never got a chance to eat was stone cold), my boyfriend opened all the new food the guy had given us and it was obvious his tacos were purposely crushed. i didn't want to go back and deal with that guy again so we literally drove home. our meals were pretty much inedible. i called today to speak to a manager about the service i received (i figured she didn't work on weekends and i didn't have a chance to call her yesterday), she informed me the man who i had this interaction with is a manager (honestly not sure how, he clearly has no empathy and cannot problem solve). she profusely apologized, told me she would speak with him and that if this happens again he will be suspended or fired then proceeded to offer me 20% off my next order. do you think after this experience that i have any interest coming back and supporting this company? absolutely not. you have lost two customers, both my boyfriend and i. i would rather drive across the city, go to another tacobell (who will treat me with respect) rather than return back to this place. i truly believe i am deserving of a full refund. this is absolutely outrageous and i am beyond disgusted on how tacobell has handled...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional experiences at this Taco Bell drive-thru. The lady working inside clearly forgot that her job is to serve customers, not create drama. While I was simply talking with my family in Punjabi, she decided to make a scene, acting as if my personal conversation was directed at her. Excuse me ā who is she to me? Absolutely no one. She is an employee on duty, not someone I came here to socialize with or tolerate attitude from.
This behavior is unacceptable. It came across as if she was trying to take advantage of her position and play the āwoman cardā to create unnecessary conflict. Let me be very clear: customers have the right to speak their own language, with their own family, without being judged or accused. Canada is a multicultural country ā protected under the Canadian Human Rights Act ā and no employee has the right to degrade, assume, or insult someone based on the language they speak.
I am not here for childish drama, I am here to pick up my food. If this is how your employees behave, Taco Bellās image in this community will absolutely go downhill. You are not just representing yourself ā you are representing an international brand, and every rude action damages its reputation.
This is a warning: customers deserve respect, equality, and a professional environment. If staff cannot handle basic courtesy, then management better step in. Otherwise, you are not promoting good service ā you are promoting rudeness, discrimination, and a toxic environment.
Completely unacceptable. One star is still...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am absolutely disappointed and disgusted at the service we received tonight. My daughter and I pulled into the driverhru at 6:43 pm there were approximately 5 cars ahead of us so we expected a delay, as well as it being so close to Christmas and a Friday evening. We ordered 1 beef crunch wrap supreme combo with supreme fries and a Dr Pepper. And 1 spicy beef crunch wrap only. When we were at the window to pay, we watched as numerous guests, at least 7, inside the store, order after us and receive their food before us. There was no apology or reason given for the delay, we were just completely ignored at the window as we sat over 15 minutes waiting and watching. We received our order at 7:22 pm, that's 39 minutes in a drive thru line for fast food, that you cannot pull out of line from. Vehicles behind us were honking in frustration. After receiving our order, we drove away, my daughter was so hungry she started digging in the bag for her spicy beef crunch wrap supreme to find that we were given chicken. I turned around and went back to the store and took everything in, and explain to them what happened and requested a refund. The young man offered no reasoning, offer, or apology again. I am so disappointed in the poor customer service at this location I will never return there. Numerous other fast food restaurants offer some sort of free item or discount for such a long wait, at this store, no amount of customer service was...
