I recently had the pleasure of using Google Maps during a road trip, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Google Maps is more than just a navigation tool; it's a complete travel companion that ensures a smooth and enjoyable journey from start to finish.
The accuracy of the directions provided by Google Maps is truly impressive. It flawlessly guided me through unfamiliar roads, intricate intersections, and unexpected detours. The real-time traffic updates saved me from potential delays and helped me make informed decisions about alternative routes. This feature alone turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a stress-free journey.
The interface of Google Maps is sleek and user-friendly. The app's intuitive layout made it easy for me to input my destination and access various features without any hassle. The option to search for nearby places of interest, such as restaurants, gas stations, and attractions, was incredibly useful when I needed to take breaks or find interesting spots along the way.
One standout feature of Google Maps is its integration with other services. The seamless integration with Google Search allowed me to look up reviews, photos, and even operating hours of businesses I was interested in. This saved me time and ensured that I made the most out of my stops during the trip.
Another feature that I found invaluable was the offline maps option. This was a game-changer when driving through areas with poor cellular connectivity. I was able to pre-download maps for specific regions and use them offline, ensuring that I never got lost even when signals were weak.
In terms of accuracy, Google Maps deserves applause. It consistently pinpointed my location with remarkable precision, eliminating any doubts about whether I was on the right track. The turn-by-turn voice navigation was clear and timely, allowing me to keep my eyes on the road while still receiving accurate instructions.
In summary, Google Maps proved itself to be an indispensable companion during my road trip. Its accuracy, real-time updates, user-friendly interface, integration with other services, and offline capabilities make it a must-have tool for any traveler. Whether you're navigating through familiar streets or exploring uncharted territories, Google Maps is your trustworthy guide. I wholeheartedly give it five stars and highly recommend it to everyone.
Kudos to the team behind Google Maps for creating such an outstanding and reliable navigation...
Read moreWe went here last week with a group of 12 women and children. A few of our friends from our group arrived before the rest and because we came from a playgroup the ladies who arrived first didn't know for sure how many women were joining us. The owner asked them how many people and they said 6 or 7 women, not including the children. Once we all arrived with the children included the number was closer to 12. The restaurant owner got really upset with the lady who first came because she has said 6 or 7. He kept saying to her but you said 6 or 7 so my friend said well do you want us to leave? The restaurant was not packed at all and had plenty of seating to seat us all and it wasn't close to dinner time etc. For the owner to be so upset. He would have got more business as we all were going to buy ourselves and our kids food. The owner got even more upset when my friend asked him if he wanted us to leave and started yelling and raising his voice at us. He kept saying that we told him 6 or 7 when we originally came in. I explained to him that we didn't know who all was coming and that what's the big deal. And he continued to be upset and yell at us. We ended up all walking out and leaving the restaurant with our toddlers, hungry and upset. We ended up going to the pizza place in the next plaza. Although the food here is good and we have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years we will no longer go as the new owners are just too rude and don't know how to give customers proper customer service. I mean why are you getting upset and yelling at your customers because they brought more people to eat at your restaurant?!?
Doesn't...
Read moreI went to this restaurant on a whim to try something new as I had never had Persian cuisine before. I ordered the Ghormeh Sabzi (beef stew with kidney beans), rice and the Shiraz salad.
The lady at the counter barely said hi to me and continued to talk to the people who were having lunch, which it seemed they knew each other because the conversation between them continued on for the entirety of my attendance whilst she sat behind the counter and they sat at their table about 10 feet away, so they were definitely talking as if no one else was there. When I asked the woman what drinks there were she just pointed me to a fridge on the other side of the restaurant. I went over and looked but didn’t see anything that I really wanted so I just asked for water. I assumed she was going to give me water in a glass as there were glasses sitting out but she just gave me a plastic bottle of water with the seal broken and a paper coffee cup to put it in. Meanwhile she had given the people she was chatting with glasses of what appeared to be tea. Why wasn’t I offered that when I had asked what kind of drinks they had? Anyway, when I got my food, the salad tasted as if it had been dressed with the lime juice that comes from one of those plastic bottles resembling a lime. The rice was good but very basic. It made me think of movie popcorn. The Ghormeh Sabzi was definitely lacking, there were maybe three chunks of beef in it the size of half a bite and the kidney beans were deflated as if the Sabzi had been stewing for quite some time. The woman never came around to ask me how the food was or if I needed anything. I will definitely not be...
