We went on a Saturday night recently. Waited for one hour STANDING in line. We saw 2 couples leave ahead of us because they weren't seated and they felt they had waited too long. So you lost money from 4 people and their potential referrals.

Here's my issue with waiting long times. We could have EASILY spent more money than a larger group would of (but they kept seating larger groups ahead us of who got there much later). We had the money, wanted a good time and were willing to spend it. So if your gonna make people wait that long, the place and food better be worth it. And unfortunately it wasn't.

We finally got a sit and we ordered 2 coconut shrimp entries. I wouldn't order them again. The shrimp were over saturated in coconut so it was as if we had ordered just coconut and not shrimp, and they were served with a very spicy hot sauce. So just because they are physically on a pier, doesn't mean they make decent shrimp.

The big kicker though was that, we couldn't spend $100 worth of alcohol even though we tried our very best, and we were at a patio bar on a pier and here's why.

We ordered a variety of "Specialty Cocktails" hoping to get a buzz going fast. We had 4 Neptunes, 2 Tropical Breezes, and 2 Sex on the Piers and all within 30 minutes of time and with a straw! They were served in small plastic cups, packed full of large ice cubes and were completely watered down, it was like searching for Gold in the Yukon, where was the alcohol at???

We gave up and left completely sober. It was very disappointing to have waited one hour standing in line, then pay for "speciality alcohol" drinks, and get nothing but...

I’ve worked in the service industry for years, so I completely understand that busy days happen, staffing can be short, and things don’t always go perfectly or as planned. That said, this experience was beyond anything I’ve encountered.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely unwelcome. Our server seemed visibly unhappy and frustrated. There was no greeting, I asked if we should wait to be seated and she said “nope” then once we were seated just a quick “It may be a while, I’m the only one serving” before walking away. While I empathize and understand being short staffed, the patio wasn’t overly busy — maybe 6 or 7 tables, many with only two people.

There were a couple of staff on the floor, possibly one being a bartender, but they were openly bickering in front of guests. We saw two tables get seated, ask for service, and then leave shortly after — I don’t think they were met with a friendly attitude either.

To top it off, we overheard complaining about customers, which is not something anyone wants to hear, especially when trying to enjoy a family meal out.

The view and atmosphere are beautiful, and the location has great potential — but the service really ruined the experience. Hopefully this was just an off day but it definitely left...

My neighbour and I went to watch the advertised Performance Boat Poker Run and when we inquired, none of the staff could answer any questions about this event which we found odd considering Myers Pier was supposed to,be the start and finish of the poker run……staff need to better their knowledge regarding current events. This water front restaurant has an awesome view but it could be a much better location to enjoy a waterside afternoon nibbling and drinking. Our picnic table was sticky and didn’t improve after being wiped down, the clear glass window beside out picnic table was covered in spider webs, cob webs, food particles and evidence of mustard and ketchup on the glass. Food was ok but nothing exciting, and no chicken wings or nachos on the menu! This restaurant needs a deep clean and staff training before I’ll return. It’s really too bad I’m leaving this review but hopefully management and ownership does a walk through and realizes their business is absolutely filthy………don’t look up at...

Got the Nathan's Hot Dog. The dog was perfect. The bun. Not so much. Dry. Maybe butter it before grilling it? Too much bread for the size of the dog. It would be good for a big brat or sausage. Service was good. It was a busy Friday but my friends food & mine came out not so long after drinks (I got a mango daiquiri), which were cute & actually tasty. But if you're looking for a silly good time, you'll be spending quite the money. My one drink was a splash of alcohol & juice & ice. If you're a french fry consumer, a bit too salty, but yum other than that. Wish I could remember the bands name. Thanks for the memories in tunes. Everyone on the dance floor was having a blast! Great job! Our server was gold. Did her job as any other gal would in the environment. If you know you know. In closing, I haven't been out to a bar restaurant in quite some time. Take my review with a grain of salt.

My first time visiting this restaurant was a bit of a let down. The view and location is one of the Best in Belleville as it's right on the water. The service was okay but the food was pretty bad. I got the fish and chips. There was a thick layer of dough in-between the outside and the fish. I couldn't finish it. The fries were okay though. The three people I was with weren't happy with their food either. I had their frozen margarita as well and it wasn't too bad but I couldn't taste the tequila. They also ran out of one of their beers and patron tequila, which I would have been happy to pay extra for. Just some advice for the owner... Condense your menu and focus on refining your cocktails and I promise you you'll be busy all the time. I really wish this business success, they just have some things to figure out.

Date of visit: Sun July 9 We were looking for a nice waterfront and patio to enjoy lunch a beautiful hot sunny day. We chose the Pier as it is not only ON the water – but every table is a patio table. The location was perfect setting for lunch. The Name Barbecue was what drew us in but it is not a barbecue joint as we expected. The waitress was young, and a little inexperienced – she kept forgetting our order (but also didn’t take any notes). The menu is not huge so there were limited options. Most items are fried. The food was not amazing – just basic waterfront boat house type food. The caesars were on special and boy were they spicy. They did not have any beer on tap – and only basic canned beer like Molson, Coors, etc. The views of the lake were amazing.
