Our experience here in April for my son's 19th birthday was amazing. The food was excellent and the staff bent over backwards to make his birthday memorable. My other son wanted to come back to celebrate his birthday. We arrived at 5pm last week. There was only one other booth occupied by diners with a couple of people at the bar so it was not busy at all. The server was absolutely fantastic. We placed our orders and the food arrived in a decent amount of time. I tried the Yorkshire pudding bowl for the first time which was delicious and such a generous portion that I could only manage a tiny bit of it and was planning to take the rest home. I did notice however that the coleslaw on my plate looked like it was a day or two old as it was a bit off colour so I didn't eat it. No problem. My other son had his usual salad and spring rolls which he enjoyed despite one of them being overcooked and very browned on the outside. The birthday boy's meal however was something else. He ordered the liver which he absolutely loves. The first piece and the fries were ok but when he went to eat the second piece, he discovered it was so overcooked that it was the consistency of a piece of shoe leather - absolutely dry and tasteless - more like a piece of jerky. It was completely inedible. Being completely disappointed, I gave him my meal, which he enjoyed. He then turned his attention to his dish of peas, tried them and immediately said he was ready to go. I was surprised as I knew he was looking forward to dessert. It turns out his peas were undercooked - still hard and half frozen. We gave up and left after that and won't be back. I find it surprising that his meal was that bad. It is not like there was a big crowd there either. The meal was quite pricy for what we had too. Because it was his birthday, I was asked not to say anything while we were there. We ended up going to the Golden Valley in Trenton to get him a replacement birthday dinner. It was first class. Very disappointed and do not recommend at all.

A charming romantic setting with antique decor and furniture. Whether you're trying to find a spot for the perfect first date or just trying to find a chill place to study, this will deliver on all fronts. With Great Drinks, Classic Old English Food and Eye-catching Decor! Complete package – an eating joint where you can enjoy their meals but at the same time, can get their senses stimulated because of an exceedingly unique environment, expect a great ambience. Who wouldn’t love to go to a Place where you can play your favourite board game or relax with a book while sipping on a smooth drink! 🍸

I rode into Belleville tonight and checked out the Beaufort Pub. I liked it a lot. The atmosphere, food and live band were all excellent. There was a really tight blues trio called “Reconsider Baby”. I like that LOL ! The lead played Stevie Ray and Hendrix and he did them both justice. The only complaint I have is no dance floor. I love to dance. I had the steak and kidney meaty pie and deep fried strawberry jam sandwich for dessert. Yum Very Yum. Check the place out.

Altogether a place you want to be in! A place that not only looks interesting, nice and old school inside but also has wonderful tasting gormet food. For sure, yes a burger is expensive but that burger is a frickin experience. The waitress' are usually friendly and outgoing. The food has a good selection to choose from along with your favorite alcohol beverages. This is one of the local town's more nicer bars in all capacity's. Inside reminds me of an English pub. And definitely the FOOD IS MOUTH watering at times. Definitely worth the wait, the only thing when it comes to food they could be ten minutes quicker. But other than that a fantastic place that you might think of coming back to again.

If out of your price range....listen just give a try once. This place is local and can be used as a nice place to eat out for lunch. Or having a late night drink. Weekends can be busy at times. So definitely worth a look.

Just a suggestion: maybe 🤔 do just a couple things in the month the draw in the younger crowd. Just more money for you!!! Why i suggest a couple times to not take awhile from the older crowd to not make them feel uncomfortable and maybe are aware of future "young people" night. Definitely would draw more long term customers since this is the nicer bar and restaurant in town. Not a dive bar...

So disappointed... today I stopped to have a drink have a snack at the Beaufort Pub...when i arrived the waitress took me to my table and returned to the bar area to carry on about how bad her hangover was to the patrons at the bar. I was making notes at my table as my mother is being placed in a nursing home tomorrow so I wanted to come up with some educated questions...on and on the waitress carried on how hungover she was(on a Tuesday afternoon) and that she had called in another waitress to cover her shift. Eventually my drink was brought to me...sipping away while making my notes, not noticing there was 4 distinct lipstick prints on my glass. At this point i am not feeling well or confident that anything has had been cleaned properly....obviously attention to detail is not a strong point for the staff there (or myself for that matter), I feel that blind trust in cleanliness is not an option at this establishment any longer.I am feeling a little unwell at this point. I waited almost 45 minutes for a waitress to come over to see how things were going... needless to say I did not drink any more of my drink. When I paid for my bill all I received was sorry about that lipstick stuff. This was one of my go to places for drinks and relaxation...sadly this is not the...
