This was our first and last time at this place. At 7 pm Fri 1.29.16. Both of use ordered the $9.99 all day breakfast. Trust me when I say, I did not want to complain but it just went from bad to worse. Ordered onions with our home fries but did not come with them. Waitress did bring some later after we mentioned it to her. Noticed right away that the bacon, sausage, bacon and ham was smothered in grease but I did not want to say anything as it was the first time that my friend picked a restaurant. I started on my pancake and there was a very strange taste like flour or something in the pancake. I picked a little at the top to see if maybe the inside was not cooked well and the whole top separated from the bottom. Strange. Bye then my friend was complaining to me that there was too much grease on her food and I was happy that it was not just me that found this to be true. I know if I had a restaurant I would appreciate it if a customer took the time to explain that something was not right so I decided to tell the waitress about the Pancake and she replied that they sell lots of Pancakes and no complaints. Mt friend wanted Bread Pudding so we ordered one to share. OMG! It was HORRIBLE! Looked like they just took a loaf of bred and dipped it in milk or even water as there was no taste at all. The waitress said it was the last piece. HORRIBLE. Never again. We do not have much money as we both live on a challenging income but do like to go out once a month and now we just wasted...

Pro's - Very friendly, engaged owner Very nice staff Interesting viewing area of brewery for the interior decor Menu is very big and would appeal to most tastes (something for everyone) Large restaurant if you have larger functions with a bar area as well LOVE that they bring you a whole kettle of Hot water if you order tea or full of coffee if your'e drinking coffee! This eliminates the need for service and keeps customers happy, good move!
Con's - Length of TIME : No matter if it seems busy or slow, this place requires at least over an hour to even come in for a lunch. While the place brews it's own beer (super cool!) this aspect is really toned down because the restaurant seems to draw in more of a "breakfasty-brunch" - type crowd.
Would love to see the decor fully take a plunge one way or the other, it seems like it wants to be a family friendly- breakfast /lunch type of joint that has a distillery stuck in the middle of it, and on the flip side, there's a lack lustre bar and really cool distillery system on display in a dining area that is really serving mainly eggs and lunch specials. Maybe a challenge for the New Year!

Read moreI gave it a 4 out of 5. This is strictly based of the specific food item I ordered. I ordered chicken n waffle that's has a chipotle maple glaze sauce, I felt there was barely any chipotle and more maple glaze in the sauce. On a good side the chicken was great (not the southern style) but I was satisfied. Waffle was good as well. Now my colleagues order a salmon dish which he mentioned was little over cooked. My other colleague ordered beef dip which he was happy with but according to him mash potatoes were not tasty.
Now let's get to service. This is where this place always have complaints based on other yelpers and it was true! Our food server didn't even tell us any daily specials although half way through - another component server was telling other customers. After over hearing the other server for daily specials we agreed that we could have ordered from the daily specials. Beside that the server has absolute no smile on her face, which I don't care about but when you are in service n hospitality industry it a nice to have some sort of reaction on your face.
