The Tipsy Toucan - Public House — Restaurant in Ontario

Was there after work with a group of 7 on a monday evening. Arrived at around 11pm and our server informed us the kitchen was closed which was one of the reasons why we went there. Funny when there was a chalk board starring us in the face saying it closed at midnight. I ordered a beer it came warm. I had to ask for a glass of ice for it and that was a chore for our server since she was so so busy with these 2 guys. We ordered another round. No I said to the very warm beer. Then she informed me that she just went down to the cellar to get it for me but the others are on ice getting cold. So they should be cold by now. WOW. you give a customer knowingly warm beer. WOW. Where is the customer service. Why not ask me for another brand??? We are all servers and all work in the food and beverage industry. Big no no. We won't be back. Ever. Worst server ever. Lost a huge amount of money that night not wanting to serve food, And...

I came to this location to see my friend do a comedy show. After the show, I was using my debit card to purchase some drinks. The following day, I noticed a suspicious 200 dollar ABM withdrawal in my bank statement that I did not make. I had a clear memory of the night, so I called my bank to find out what happened and they confirmed that the withdrawal was made at this location. The reason I am writing this is to warn people to be careful at this bar as the employees may take advantage of you if you are using your debit card to purchase drinks. I was buying pitchers of beer to share with my friends and I would have never expected one of their employees to steal my money like that. Shame on whoever did this... It's the shadiest thing that has ever happened to...

Joke of a bar, one good waitress, the short one is a drunk, the bar is full of drugs, Dave the owner knows it and has for years. The place is dirty all the time and the drinks are horrible unless you buy bottles. Don't buy mixed drinks or use those nasty glasses. Lots of homeless around and in the bar, fights are common, bathrooms are disgusting and left over coke dust all over the stalls. They sell booze after hours, my wife left a review on her experience at the bar and because of that Dave had the drunk waitress come out and banned us because of my wife's honest opinions. Just avoid that place if you can. Highly do not recommend unless you just wanna get drunk...
