Tim's Fish & Chips and Poutine — Restaurant in Ontario

We just moved to the area, tried Tim’s for the first time, first of all I ordered 2 orders of 2 pieces haddock and fries, side of gravy and a large coleslaw. She only gave me 1 order of fish and chips that had been sitting on the side of the cooker getting cold while she felt with another issue. Then rang up the order without coleslaw or gravy, I asked where the other order of fish and chips got to and she looked at her docket and verified I had ordered Two orders. So cooked another order, in the mean time the first order is getting colder and soggy wrapped in paper. Rang up the second order, I asked about the coleslaw, checked her docket again, went to the back came back with a tiny styrofoam coffee cup with coleslaw, then couldn’t find a price for it didn’t know what to charge so just rang up $4.00. It was supposed to be a large enough for two people, but it wasn’t even a full cup we didn’t share much. 2nd order of fish is still in the fryer getting darker, dryer and over cooked. Fries are on the side getting cold. Then I asked about the gravy on the side, checked again but hadn’t written it down when I ordered it. She wasn’t busy so I’m not sure what was going on. We went on a Sunday to take food home after leaving a brewery in Brockville that wasn't a good fit for our family with young kids. There was only one woman working, and though she was busy with the order ahead of us, she greeted us kindly. There isn't much space inside but the menu is large with lots of options. It wasn't long before we placed our order, and the fry cook got to work. She was focused on her work and speedy. While we waited for the deep fryers, two other people came in to place orders. We brought our food home and were amazed at the amount of fries! So bountiful! Everyone loved their meal, from fish and chips to a popcorn fish wrap, fish bites, and a hot dog. No complaints for us, except that maybe the fry cook should have another assistant on Sundays to ensure minimal wait time. My 6yr old couldn't stop singing her praises when we got home as he thought, "she was the best fry cooker ever. That was a lot of work for one person, and this is the best". Well we decided to try Tim's again after about a year. Walked in to put my in order and the older lady was belittling the younger girl in front of me for some order mistakes. Totally uncalled for. Correction through training maybe but not like this. Although the order was originally mixed up it was corrected. When we got home with two pieces of Cod and two pieces of Haddock, we had no idea which was which. Two unmarked bags. We like both types of fish so we tried it. The fish was anything but acceptable, overcooked and the batter burnt. There was absolutely no flavour and the majority got thrown out. $26.00 in the garbage.
