Health Warning, tl;dr at bottom:
Purchased a BLT bagel through a delivery service. Took it apart to scrape some mayo off (asked for extra, got the whole container) and found a dead fly on the lettuce (it's cold out, must have a fly/maggot problem in the store) It had a bunch of mayo on it, so I moved it very carefully to be 100% sure it's a fly.
Called the store (around noon), employee apologized saying they are extremely busy, and was told that the manager just stepped out for the day despite being extremely busy at lunch hour. They said they would leave a note on her desk and she would call me back later that day or tomorrow morning.
12:30 the next day, no call yet. Called the store, the supervisor informs me that once again they're extremely busy and the manager stepped out just before noon. What kind of manager does this? The supervisor then says that "her desk is full of notes and complaints, she probably didn't see it." So why did she leave early?
Got angry and gave them an ultimatum, either call me back in an hour or I post reviews and make complaints where appropriate over the managers head.
Decided to wait 24hrs instead, still no phone call. Obviously this manager does not care about a health hazard at their store.
The owner needs to take a good look at their management and decide if certain people are worth their salary. The answer is pretty obvious considering they've completely ignored my complaint and have no plans on addressing the health issue.
On another note, I went into the store 2 days before this. A customer accidentally took someone else's food. Employees informed the customer, gave them their order, took the food back then GAVE IT BACK TO THE OTHER CUSTOMER! Huge health hazard and red flag. You'd think that after almost 2 years of the pandemic they'd at least train their employees on proper health and safety protocols.
Tl;dr: Numerous health hazards that I'm aware of, management ignores complaints. Avoid...
Read moreIf there was another timmies near our area I would never go to this one. Often problems each time I go whether it be my orders directly or watching other people order. Many times now I've watched or experienced the cashier take an order and agree to something but then the ones making it contradict or claim it couldn't be made or done. For my own experience, was when I asked a crossaints to be toasted for my breakfast sandwich, which they said it couldn't be toasted only microwaved. When I said that makes them gross and that I didn't want that, they rang me through anyway while nodding like they understood and were going to just toast it anyway, but then went to microwave it and argued with me about it all over on the other end. Today I ordered one to take home and heat up, and it was the saddest simply sausage I've ever ordered where it was lacking sausage and not spread across the sandwich. And while waiting I witnessed a lady waiting for soup she ordered while her cab waited, and when she spoke up after I was served, was told this soup wasn't available, yet they'd already charged her for it and she had to go back through to get refunded. Constantly seeing this kind of thing where the front and back workers aren't on the same page and people are constantly waiting ages to get served. It is one of the most consistently inconsistent Tim Hortons I've ever seen and really wish there were other locations in this radius....I wouldn't even bother going if it wasn't for my family members insisting it be timmies coffee and not McDonald's...
Read moreHappy with the actual Tim Horton's workers they're great as for the security company it has finally been brought into say deal with the constant loitering and drug addicts shooting up in the bathrooms etc they often send somebody that spends more time with their face and their phone then paying attention to the store I have already threatened to take video of him and send it to his boss and if the company doesn't do anything about this then I turned it over to the media a security guard is paid to do a job not to sit whether it be texting talking on the phone or on the and every time I run into the same individual that is what he is doing rather than the job that he has paid to do and if the company that pays his paycheck doesn't do anything about that it makes them look bad what's the point of even having this guy if he's not going to do the actual job he is paid to do because people lose their jobs for a lot less than that when they decide but they would rather be online or sit and text or talk to their friends then pay attention to their job at hand Hanover half the time I've run into this person he's literally sitting outside talking on his phone rather than in the store doing his damn job that's the Tim Hortons at macdonell and...
