We live about 35 minutes away, and my fiance was looking forward to a pizza here for months and was extremely disappointed. He is too shy to write a review, but after watching him have a stomach ache for several days because of this pizza I figured I'd write one.
The oven was off when he called at 4:30 (they open at 3) - the food wouldn't have been ready until 5:15. We showed up at 5:15 and they said "give us 1-2 minutes".... 15 minutes later it was finally ready. The staff pull down their masks the second a customer walks out of the store. He watched the cook nearly drop the pizza taking it out of the oven and the toppings slid to one side. This is the worst one - IT WASN'T EVEN COOKED! The paper underneath was MELTED INTO THE DOUGH because of how uncooked it was. The meat wasn't cooked properly either. So gross. The caesar dip was watery..... Yep, watery. No "sorry about the wait", just here's your uncooked dough disc with raw meat. Bon appetit.
For over $30 for one pizza this was extremellllllly disappointing. I doubt he'll be returning, this was his favourite pizza too.
Edit: returned a few months later to give them a second chance and it happened again. After waiting 20 minutes we show up and we’re told the ovens weren’t on and it’d be another 20 minutes. We showed up 20 minutes later and the pizza still wasn’t done and were told it would be more time....
Read more.I have to completely change my initial review because nothing that was good last time was even acceptable this time, guy is probably rolling in his grave. It took a lot longer than estimated, which happens but it was quite a while. I have had deliveries come quicker. Her pizza was burnt and didn't look very good...surprise, it was pretty bad, she ate some toppings but passed on the crust. My panzarotti looked good, a lot of cheese. The pepperoni looked a little watery and light but whatever, hers had a ton of canned mushrooms on it so my expectations were already pretty low. Well low and behold, food poisoning. So lost the 50 bucks or whatever dinner was and a day of work. Never going back here and unless you are ordering pizza ironically, I suggest you go somewhere...
Read moreI recently ordered pizza from Tony’s Pizza and had a rather disappointing experience. I specifically requested that they call me when the driver arrived, as I was at the back of the building by the pool. Unfortunately, they failed to inform the driver about this, resulting in the driver leaving without my order. This led to an even longer wait time for my pizza.
To make matters worse, I ordered pizza sauce and paid for it, but it was missing from my order. The lack of attention to detail and miscommunication is frustrating. The pizza itself was very bad hard and so much cheese.
I would not recommend ordering from Tony’s Pizza based on my experience. There are definitely better...
