Response to Dana: Thanks for your reply, although we found it a little "entitled". To suggest that other vegan restaurants don't pay their staff well, or that staff at other vegan restaurants are not friendly is absurd and offensive. Further, our entire point was that the "quality" of your ingredients were by far sub-par to those of other vegan restaurants and your price is higher. I will email you pictures of plant based chicken and plant based bacon used at other restaurants, which you can compare to the boxed or shaker bacon bits you used and there is no comparison. Same with the plant based chicken. If you'd like to entirely disregard my observations and comparison to other restaurants and suggestions to improve quality and value then go ahead. Unfortunate though because I feel your restaurant has potential and I'd like to see it last. Original Review: Let me just start out by saying that I do love this place and I love having any Vegan/Plant based restaurant here in London as an option. Service-awesome! Very friendly very helpful staff. Great job! We ordered the Crunchwhich Delux and a chicken Cesar wrap. Chrunchwhich (plant based chicken sandwich) was very good! Crunchy coating, great slaw and sauce. Awesome! The wrap was very disappointing. The plant based chicken was cut in cubes, and resembled tofu more than plant based chicken. The croutons and bacon bits tasted like they came from a box. Very fake and ruined the wrap. There was next to no sauce so it was very dry, and the wrap itself was just a raw wrap, not toasted not heated so was very doughy. Not good. Not a big deal if it's a 6.99 wrap but the wrap was $12 and was nowhere near $12 value. Same with the chicken sandwich, which was also $12, and was closer to a $8.99 value. I can go to Odd Burger and get a much better wrap with actual plant based bacon strips and chicken for $6.99. Same with the chicken sandwich at Odd Burger. My suggestion for added value would be to add fries for the $12 price which would cost you nothing but add perception of value. Once the novelty of this place wears off people will realize that ultimately they can get better value and better quality for their $12. I'll be back to try other things, hopefully the experience will be a little better.

Good food is a bit more expensive than going to a fast food place for entrees, but the quality justifies more than enough. Just make sure you budget the outing! Chicken wraps were awesome. Donuts are also really, really good. Less selection than a big box donut place, but I think that's probably for the best as the donuts are mostly leavened(yeast) donuts. Which dont keep great but are way better than your typical cake donut for flavour. With that said, I wish I'd limited how many donuts we got in one shot (too excited to pick one each), since after 2 days the quality drops off fast (super expected with low amounts of preservatives). Must have showed up near the end of the day as employees seemed tired but friendly, though judging from the food, they're probably just working their butts off. The artwork in the place was really cool. The place for sure has a vibe. Didn't feel super "clean cut," but the kitchen, from what could be seen, did actually look responsibly clean. From what I could see, it's not a sit-down place? Definitely not geared towards young families just from food choice and pricing. Though kids would probably like the food. Seems for sure geared to young professionals, date night food, maybe students looking to splurge, more *hip* gen Xers, etc. Feels like a place that fits into the neighborhood well. Neat East End gem, check it out if you've got $60 to blow on foodie stuff or want a fun date night meal. Which I know is tough these days, but the donuts are for sure worth grabbing for a reasonable price, at least.

As soon as you enter, you're welcomed with the smell of fried donuts. Tried four donuts - old fashioned glazed, banana cream pie, toasted coconut, and apple fritter. The dough is very dense, much like eating bread. If you prefer fluffy soft donuts, I would not recommend donuts from here. Otherwise, the donuts here are like eating sweet bread. Apple fritter was the best out of the four because it had that cinnamon apple spread woven into the layers of the dough, which gave it more moisture and seem less dense compared to others. Banana cream pie had so little filling that didn't even pierce through to the middle of the dough. The filling tasted like a commercial banana cream pie filling you could buy in a store. Coconuts on top of toasted coconut were nice. Old fashioned glazed had a mild flavour of the 'old fashioned' spice mix. Overall, very mediocre in flavour; they were not robust or well defined.

Before reading this please know I'm not a vegan or vegetarian in any way but I try to eat vegetarian 1 day a week. Overall it wasn't a bad place. I probably won't eat there again unless I'm with people who want to eat there. Going in there is no sit-down area so there's no real dine in ,which is what I wanted and Google has advertised. Me and my friend Got the Ruben with poutine and one of the cauliflower wing wraps with the mac and cheese .

The Ruben was good for the first two or 3 bites but it started to get a funny after taste the really wasn't enjoyable.

The poutine was delicious taste the same as the real deal just a healthier alternative.

The cauliflower wing wrap was bomb ! Though it didn't taste like it's meat counterpart I would say I enjoyed it more.

The mac and cheese in my opinion is the worst. Idk what it was, but it had a really funky gross taste to it . The cheese on top was fine but the noodles or the sauce that the noodles are coated in was really gross. Tbh I ate it later that night but I had to refry it in real butter add more cheese ( real not vegan) and bread crumbs. After that it tasted much better but defeated the whole purpose of it being vegan.

One really good thing about the food was the portion sizes. I'm a pretty big eater and normally it takes a bit to make me full but the food really hit the spot.

The service was sub par . With the little interaction had with the staff it seems like they had a problem with me. They weren't rude or anything they just seemed very unwelcoming and burdened with our presence even though we were the only ones in. It wasn't so much in verbal ways but body language and atmosphere made it feel that way. The way they have it set up in the restaurant itself makes it feel as though pandemic never ended. No chairs ,tables ,or decorations on the walls. Just the front counter , a non renovated eye sore beside a half wall beside it ,and a small table with a sanitizer bottle sitting beside the doorway.

The price was alot more than I expected. Because of the portion size it wasn't bad I just feel that some recipes need to be revamped a bit.

I hope this doesn't make it sound to bad because some of the food seems really good but I feel like this restaurant needs alot of work and has only been coasting by due to the very limited market vegan and vegetarian restaurants have. Hopefully I can try them again in the future if some...
