He provided clear instructions and helped us improve our technique, making the experience even more enjoyable.

We had such a good experience the other day at Batl Axe! It was my first time there and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but all of my expectations were exceeded. They brought us in and offered a decent selection of coolers and beer and everyone was able to find something they liked. Then they taught us each two different throws- two handed and then one handed. The guy was very nice and patient with us. I was unable to connect any of my first few throws and he stayed around to offer advice when he thought necessary, and came back after leaving us alone for ten minutes to continue to assist us. He showed us scoring and game options and continued coming around throughout our hour there. He gave us a heads up on our time expiring, and before we left he offered to show us a couple more different throws and tricks shots. It was a very cool experience as we were almost the only ones there, so he allowed us to test out each trick shot and showed us other trick shots. I think his name was Brody, he kept coming back with more trick shots. I would recommend going on a week day as you get a lot more private time with the workers and he was very willing to show us new tricks and have us attempt them. We had an absolutely fantastic time at BATL Grounds Axe Throwing! Our host, AJ, was simply amazing. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and excited to dive into the experience. Her thorough explanations and helpful tips were invaluable, especially for those of us who were new to axe throwing. AJ’s kindness and patience really stood out; she took the time to ensure everyone felt comfortable and confident with their throws. Her enthusiasm was contagious and truly enhanced our overall experience.

A huge shoutout also goes to the bar staff, who poured us perfect drinks throughout our time there. They were friendly and attentive. It really added to the fun atmosphere and helped keep our spirits high while we were throwing axes!

This was our office group’s second visit, and we can confidently say we will be back for more! The combination of AJ’s excellent hosting and the fantastic service at the bar made for an unforgettable outing.
