Venice Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Ontario

I am writing this review with a sense of deep regret and disappointment. After several years of being a loyal customer to this pizza place, our last experience was enough to sever our ties completely.

When it comes to quality food and fair pricing, there's no doubt that this pizzeria has consistently delivered in the past. But it appears that things have taken a significant downturn with their recent approach to customer service, making their offerings far less appealing.

On our last visit, we were taken aback when we were charged an exorbitant $16 for a medium pizza. This was surprising, especially since there were deals advertised that could have fetched us two pizzas for less, or a walk-in special for just $6.99. When we expressed our surprise and confusion to the attendant, we were met with an attitude that was nothing short of disappointing.

In a dismissive tone, she stated that we should have specifically asked for the deals if we wanted them. She was unapologetic, and seemed to believe that it was our fault for not knowing about their special prices. To say this was a shock would be an understatement.

Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but I believe that good customer service involves helping customers get the best value for their money, without them having to ask or beg for it. It is about transparency and respect, qualities that were sorely lacking in our interaction with this attendant.

Furthermore, her manner of communication was downright rude and argumentative, bordering on hostile. It was a stark contrast to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere we were used to at this pizza place. This encounter left a bitter taste, and we decided that it would be our last visit there.

All things considered, it seems there is a serious training issue that needs to be addressed. Employees should be trained not only on how to make great pizza, but also on how to provide excellent customer service. Unfortunately, in this case, the latter was sorely missing.

Sadly, this was a deal-breaker for us. After years of enjoying their pizzas, this experience has compelled us to take our business elsewhere. If you're looking for a pizzeria that values its customers and treats them with respect, I'd suggest...

Been a pretty solid customer for the last 3 months. Bought from this place for years though. The last 3 times I've gone, I've had nothing but issues however. From wrong toppings being placed on my pizza, to last night where I showed up a little after the recommended time for my pick-up order and they were confused as hell like my order wasn't placed. Showed her the receipt and then they lied to us saying it would be 5-6 minutes. My roommate and I then had to wait 15 minutes, while we sat there the whole time and watched them make it from basically scratch. To make matters egregiously worse, the pizza was so undercooked and doughy last night too. Was gonna give it one more shot today, but hey they're open in person but they're website to order online says they're closed, so no point. It's good for if you want pizza on a budget here and there. However, if you have the means to go elsewhere, don't second guess it, just go to that other restaurant. Cause as a new resident to this city, they're not worth it and they aren't even kind staff there, except for one small lady. And that's like, unfortunately it.

TL:DR; Expect mid pizza, and even worse service. And if they tell you to wait a bit, expect to be there for a while. Also, they haven't fixed their T.V that's been broken for...

I don't write many reviews but I am very disappointed. This was the most disgusting pizza and wings I have ever ate. We used to order from the older management at least once a week when it was called western pizza (2 for 1). My wife made an order last night. The pizza just smelled like yeast and either was risen for a very long time or not at all. Trust me, I know pizza dough very well. The meat on the pizza was disgusting. My wife and I were not able to finish it we had to throw it away and what a waste of money. The wings, don't get me started. Half the wings were not cooked thoroughly (the Wings) and they were so salty I don't know who is able to eat them. I am not sure if this has to do with it being a halal order or not, even though we are still questioning it, but nothing in the order is edible. We will not be ordering from here again and we mean it. Total waste of money. You lost a customer and we will make sure to warn everyone we know to not order from here. The older managament was much better I don't even know if we will ever find pizza as good as that...
