I used to think Wendy’s was the last great burger joint in Orillia. I just had hands down the worst customer experience in my life.
Not only was every point of sale and staff member rude, from rushing us to order, to making us feel like an inconvenience to make a minor change to our order; when we finally pull up to the window we aren’t even spoken to. No “hello, how are you” just told the total. Which is no big deal, but then when we clarify something about our order we are made to feel like idiots and inconveniences. Something as simple as asking for the sour cream we asked for.
Top it all off the drive through attendant tosses me a couple more bags, doesn’t say anything to me, doesn’t make eye contact with me, and then just shuts the door in my face. We had quite a large order so we waited for the rest of our bags.
All of the staff are giving us dirty looks and one manager who was quite rude and condescending, even though she just seen the whole ordeal, asks if they can help us with anything ? I asked her if we had anything else with our order and she says no ?
OKAY WELL MAYBE IF YOUR STAFF HAD SOME COMMON COURTESY AND RESPECT... they would say “here’s the rest of your order have a great night” ? Instead of shutting the door in our face and not making eye contact. I will not being coming back here. Which is saying something because this used to be my favourite place in town. I don’t know who you have running this store, but you really need the nice older woman back on drive through at night time. These new staff are completely disrespectful and to be frank could care less about their job or customer satisfaction.
If I could give this a ZERO star I would. I’ll definitely be telling all my family and...
Read moreWhat a terrible experience on July 8, 2024. Was super early for work, about 7:05am, decided to grab a bite first. Pulled into the drive thru, ordered, pulled ahead and stopped behind one person waiting for their food. And there I stayed for about 5mins. Rough start, but ok. I order, and am told it'll be a minute from the guy working and if I could pull ahead. Ok, apparently 1 minute is tying things up? Whatever, I pulled ahead around to the front of the store. It's now about 7:12am. 7:25am rolls around and the only thing I've seen through the window is a cashier wiping down the cash registers. Empty store. At this point it's me, another car that was asked to pull ahead and one truck now at the window. In this timespan I saw one person walk in for food. So 4 customers. 20mins. No food. I had to walk in, ask what was going on, and they had no clue who I was. The guy that asked me to pull ahead earlier looks baked out of his mind and bags my breakfast English muffins that were just sitting next to the fry warmer and says sorry about that, I was just about to bring your food out. Now I'm running late for work, but I get there. I go to eat my food and it's stone cold. I've had great service at lunch at this location, but this was nothing short of abysmal. The only good thing was the "atmosphere". The store is clean and newly renovated.
It's been a slice Wendy's, but my time is valuable and I don't have time for this. I'll be heading elsewhere...
Read moreOn our recent visit to Wendy's, we were greeted by an unexpectedly heartwarming service experience. The staff displayed an exemplary level of care and attention, proving that excellence in customer service can be found in the most unexpected details.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of this popular fast-food chain, one member of the staff, the cleaning lady, stood out for her thoughtful and considerate gesture. While she was going about her duties, she noticed us enjoying our meal and went out of her way to ask if we needed more sauce for our salad.
In an industry often criticized for impersonal interactions, her proactiveness was a refreshing departure from the norm. This small, yet significant act elevated our dining experience, showing that she wasn't just performing her cleaning duties but also genuinely caring for the customers.
Overall, the service at Wendy's was excellent, with staff who not only met our expectations but exceeded them. It's the little things like these, a cleaning lady offering more sauce for our salad, that truly showcase the spirit of hospitality and contribute to a memorable dining experience.
Kudos to Wendy's for fostering such a service-oriented environment. It's clear that at Wendy's, every staff member, regardless of their role, is dedicated to ensuring the customers are well taken care of. This experience has definitely left a lasting impression, and we're already looking forward to...
