This is the new hot place to go in Orangeville, as you can tell from the long waiting lists in the evening. I took my mom, and we sat at the bar and had a drink while waiting for our table. The staff was very attentive, despite how insanely busy they were. We even got a chance to chat with the owner. Lobster and steak were delicious, as was the coconut shrimp. I do think the restaurant has some room to grow and improve, but the food is definitely comparable to nearby bars such as Shoeless Joe’s and St. Louis. I would not say the quality is as great as The Keg, or fine dining offerings in town like Steakhouse 63 and Rustik, but the prices are also much lower. There are also not too many healthy or Keto options, as almost everything is breaded. But I am impressed they managed this much quality from how busy they were! For casual bar fare when you just need some comfort food and drinks, this is a great place. There are not many spots you can grab lobster in town, and certainly not at such a bargain! I will be back for more.

Our server was lovely, great service and energy . I ordered the ribs and wings meal ,and asked for a diff sauce than bbq bc I can't have tomatoes. She came back and said yes we have honey garlic and can do that. Then had to come back saying sorry we can ONLY put it on the wings... not the ribs .corporate says people are not allowed to put a sauce they have,on ribs but chicken yes ok great . We got around that by having the sauce in a plastic cup on the side for me to put on myself 🤣🤣 such an odd rule and silly conversation. I've worked in food a good chunk of my adult working life and I've heard/had to uphold annoying things forsure but this was just funny to me 🤣🤷‍♀️ tasted good though ,I got the side of sweet potato fries, wasn't a big fan they were skinny and perhaps overcooked for my taste. We shared an arugula strawberry salad as an app and it was good although very heavy on the dressing ,I would ask for it on the side next time.

My steak was nowhere near what it should be. It seems this location might have changed their meat supplier. Two people asked for some mayonnaise. Get this, they were charged 1.98 for each sealed packet of mayonnaise. What’s next, charging for each shake of the salt and pepper! So Chuck”s is not consistent. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a good meal. Previous Review Wow, the Filet mignon was perfect. Lauren our server was excellent. I will definitely go back again. I would even say Chuck’s is the top dining restaurant in Orangeville.

My partner and I stopped here on our way home at 3pm on a Friday. We had beyond the worst meal that included the worst customer service we’ve encountered. Firstly, we stood at the door waiting while the waitress was taking a personal call behind the bar. Eventually, she waved us in and we chose a booth. She eventually came by and tossed menus down while asking what we wanted to drink. We ordered drinks (water and a coke). Drinks were fairly quickly dropped off. That was the last quick thing. Eventually we ordered, I ordered a 7oz filet, cooked medium with Caesar salad and my partner ordered a 10oz rib eye cooked medium rare with fries and a side of gravy. Both meals were $24.95. And both are advertised as served with corn on the cob. After another long wait, during which time the waitress was outside on her phone at least once, our food was dropped off and our waitress was off again. No offer to refill our drinks, dropped food and cutlery and gone. My steak was 5oz at best. It was wrapped in bacon as it should be, but the sear was more of a char. The rib eye was also more charred than seared. The corn on the cob was nowhere to be found, instead we were served a dish of cold canned corn niblets. My partners gravy never arrived and the 7 French fries he received were also cold. The cook on the rib eye was cook, flavour was fine. The issue was that over 25% of the steak was fat. That’s extreme, even for a rib eye. My filet was disgusting. Half of it was rare and the other half was brown and dry. My salad was fine, although drenched in (fake) bacon bits and cheese. We once again waited for the waitress. She came by to ask how our meals were relatively quickly (I would assume because we were eating). We quickly advised that my steak was unacceptable and inedible. She was excellent, apologetic and anxious to rectify the situation. We asked for just a burger as opposed to replacing the steak and if she could grab us some refills. At this time, I excused myself to the facilities. The bathrooms were horrifying. The doors inside the stalls looked as though the contents of the stalls had been smeared there. The sink was filthy but at least there was hand soap. When I returned to the table, we had yet to receive our drink refills but my partner had received a visit from a woman, whom we think was the manager as she never identified herself. She came out to tell us there was nothing wrong with my steak and since I’d clearly eaten half of it, she would be charging us for both it and the burger we had ordered to replace it. He argued with her that I most certainly hadn’t eaten it and if that were the case, she could cancel the burger and we would pay and leave. I’m sure more words were exchanged but she was gone before I came back to the table and she never spoke to me at all. Long after my boyfriend had finished his meal, our waitress finally brought my burger out. We asked for the bill and a take out container for the burger as by this point we were both just done with the restaurant. She brought the bill in a hurry with a machine but not the take out container. We reviewed the bill and they had taken the steak off, leaving us charged for the burger and salad. They also charged us for gravy we never received but at this point, we ate the $2 to pay and go. We did tip, 10% rather than the 20%+ we normally would. When she finally came over with the take out container, my boyfriend explained how bad the meal had been, how ridiculous and insulting it is to have a manager (?) come out and tell us we’re wrong about a bad piece of meat and the service was quite poor. Throughout this, she kept telling us that she didn’t make the food (absolutely correct) and she’s on her own and she has to do everything. We were done and just said thank you for your time, we won’t be back and to have a good weekend.

Arthur is not a destination, it’s a stop along the way to somewhere. One would think a restaurant there would want to be great to ensure repeat business. Apparently...

This was our second time coming here it was me and two of my buddies so the first time we came here the inital waitress told us to relocate because they're shutting down one side of the bar so we asked them to compromise with playing the game on the TV with volume so she agreed when you went to the other side the other waitress that was there at the bar was giving us poor service it took for such a long time to get us water.

Then changed the game we were watching on the TV for something else without telling us so we walked out after a few minutes. so the next time September 23rd and we were greeted by the manager and she offered a table on the bar side but we couldn't watch the basketball game because of volume not working on smaller TVs so we requested that is it possible to sit on the opposite side.

She made amendments and accepted so as we went to the other side she played our game put the volume up and gave really good service. unfortunately a booth on opposite side did not like but she had done And left but vouching for the manager if you're not going to ask then how she going to know that you wanted that side. She can't read their minds and they didnt ask they jumped to conclusions.

Moreover if we were to play the game on the bar side it would have Disturbed the other patrons which it's not respectful. nevertheless the manager provided excellent service hands down five stars.

But the waitress that was overlooking our food and servicing us was the second time we had her so we give her the benefit of the doubt to move past the first occurrence. subsequently we decided to order so my buddy ordered first then I did but I asked her what possible sauces could go with my salad she said "I'm not going to repeat that again ask him" to my friend.

However me sitting across from him and the TV being very loud I couldn't hear her at all so is not justifiable for her to refuse. As the service went on many times i said thank you and she did not acknowledge it and see with courtesy everyone says "you're welcome" which is usually what any person would do but all of the time she didn't.

So going forward I hope the waitress looks past my appearance ethnicity and treats us like the others in the bar just like how the manager treated us with respect and dignity.

Unfortunately this is the second occurrence with her I hope she understands that I have no bias with her and that she should treat everyone in the bar equally I have never experience this Behavior from person at any other restaurants.

I want her to keep her job and learn that we are all equal and I respect as if she was my sister even though my friends and I were treated poorly and we dont grudges I wrote this review so maybe she can read it and learn that it is a terrible feeling when you treat someone different because of their appearance and she ought to eliminate that behavior as she will meet others in her future career and she needs to accept them.

We went to dinner yesterday. And our server Victoria was amazing. We were 5 people in total. When our food came out one of us didn't get their meal. Victoria came right away and apologized for the inconvenience. By the time the food came out we were all done eating.

When the bill came out we were surprised nothing was done about our burger. We asked to speak to a manager Riley came out she was the MOD of the night. She told us she could take a percentage off but because the food came out she couldn't fully take it off the bill.

Coming from the service industry I don't know where the item wouldn't have been removed from the bill. I don't know if this was a server issue or the kitchen forgot, but regardless it was unacceptable that they couldn't take off a $13 burger. Riley kept saying it wasn't her fault she's trained on removing only half. Her attitude as was not friendly at all. She was rude to us and we explained that we were all finished eating and she's like. Yep I understand but nothing I can do.

For her the server didn't receive a tip as we didn't agree with what the manager on duty did and the $20 tip that Victoria would have gotten should come out of Riley's paycheck.

I don't know if this is something Chuck's does that they don't care about their guests satisfaction, but Riley definitely turned a nice evening...
