Philthy Philly's — Restaurant in Orangeville

This Orangeville location is HORRIBLE. I have never tried Philthy Philly’s before but just recently attended a wedding in Newmarket and tried the Newmarket location. It was fantastic we got fried cheese curds burgers poutine peroggies and a chicken sandwich’s . It was amazing good flavour and customer service was spot on couldn’t ask for better service. This Orangeville location was horrible both guys couldn’t understand English I had to repeat myself multiple times for them to still get more order wrong. Two out of my three items were wrong on my recite and I did repeat myself multiple times and they still did it wrong I had to get them to redo my order and give me the difference in $ back witch was only 2$ and I still put it in the tip jar and said mistakes happen just get it right this time. Sure enough I watch them with no hair nets no gloves fry chicken cheese curds Mac and cheese bites fries and perogies all in the same oil and pack up my stuff in small boxes when I paid for regular size portions. At this point it’s been almost 45 minutes my wife is calling wondering why its taking so long, And I’m getting frustrated, they say sorry we’re knew we’re still learning. I’ve never been so upset with a server before but yet kept my cool, these guys seemed like they had no idea. They couldn’t even speak proper English our understand it witch for a franchise company is bad business for you. I don’t recommend anyone spend there money at this location it was disgusting . I recently visited Philthy Philly Cheesesteaks, and the experience was fantastic! The cheesesteak was loaded with tender, juicy meat and melted cheese that stretched with every bite, exactly what you’d expect from a proper Philly. The bread was soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, holding everything together perfectly.

I also really enjoy their smash burgers, easily some of the best around! One of my personal favorites is the Chicken Greek Freak, which has amazing flavor and a great balance of toppings. It’s something I keep coming back for whenever I visit.

The portion sizes were generous, and I really liked that they had a variety of toppings and sauces to customize the sandwich to my taste. The fries were golden and crispy, a great side to the cheesesteak.

The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant had a laid-back vibe, which made it a comfortable spot to grab a meal. Price-wise, I felt the food was worth it given the portion and quality.

Overall, Philthy Philly is definitely a go-to if you’re craving a hearty cheesesteak, a juicy smash burger, or something unique like the Chicken...

We went in to try it tonight spent 47$ on three mediums and a kids. The kids was larger then the mediums which were on microwaved hot dog buns . The meat felt like it had been in a slow cooker all day and was mush . And then buns were hard around edges. For 12$ each medium I would expect it to be somewhat filling not worth it for the size or quality of food. Tried to call in and speak to them about it and felt very brushed off . They claimed they made a mistake and put the kids on a 6” but the mediums are supposed to be 8” and the kid sandwhich was bigger.
