Ordered two drinks today, one refresher and one tea. I watched the car in front of me in the drive thru get their drink spilled on them and their car. I get my drinks perfectly fine, but when i arrive home after a long day at work, pick up my two drinks and my personal belongings, the lid on the tea is fully off. I didnât realize until i had my hands full. I spilt a boiling hot tea down my hand and into my bags, not being able to put it down with my hands full. This is not the first time this has happened. It is completely unacceptable. My fingers are now swelling and purple. This is in no way targeted towards the worker today, because it is an ongoing problem. However, when i finally got inside, i took the lid of the tea because i didnât trust that it wouldnât fall off again. Lo and behold, the tea is still filled to the very brim. Iâm not sure how it could possibly be filled to the top after spilling so much of it on myself and belongings. The cups need to change. It is completely unacceptable and an issue like this can quickly turn into a lawsuit. Furthermore, hot drinks should NOT be filled to the brim in any case, as a barista I would know. Thanks for your time.. hope something can change for...
Read moreMy family and I started going to this Starbucks about 3 times a week closer to the start of the Pandemic (just in order to get out of the house). Service wasn't up to par and our drinks were constantly wrong. However, it was a tradition and again just something to do to get out of the house (we understood mistakes happened, it was a very stressful time for everyone). As time progressed, we met a barista named Dylan. He is the nicest, hardworking, fast-paced customer oriented gentleman I have ever met (I've worked in customer service for 10 years). He always greets my family with a smile and great conversation (more than just "nice weather today" he's actually gotten to know us). He has become part of our family outing now, and we always try to find out when he is working so we can go when he is there. I would also like to mention a women named Kayla, I believe she is a supervisor / manager. Her customer service skills are impeccable. Thank you to her and Dylan for keeping our daily trips to Starbucks interesting, filled with laughter and great tasting drinks. We will continue to keep our daily trips to Starbucks alive after long days of...
Read moreThis is my favourite Starbucks, the people are always so kind and if you have to wait a bit at the drive thru the baristas actually talk to you and ask how your day is going! That's not typical of anywhere in the city at least, this has that small town friendly feel so this is the only Starbucks I will spend any money at and tip!!
The only thing I find brutal at this Starbucks is the drive thru around the building is awkward and with covid the line tends to get long and people don't seem to know how to drive in the parking lot or how to line up properly, but that's just people being people lol can't do much about that. Sometimes I have ordered on the app and just went inside to pick up but if little one is in the car I can't do that. I recommend if you are able to pick up inside, it's faster and you don't deal with people that may possibly hit your car not knowing how to maneuver into the line or cut in front of you and block traffic.
Currently they are closed for renovations until I believe April 22nd (not 100%). I miss my treat of a good cold brew after grocery shopping, very excited for them...
