I've been driving by this place for a few years now. At first it was the cool name and the food truck vibe that peaked my interest, and then I noticed the Egyptian flag. It all made sense....Batoota is an Egyptian nickname you give a little girl.
So my curiosity is peaked, but so is my hunger because I love Egyptian food.
I make it their and the menu is simple, clean and clear. Additionally. Impressed because they also serve Dutch fare.
Anyways, I ordered the kofta on salad.phenomonial.
I ordered the falafel, and my taste buds are blown away. Plus the tahini is to die for.

Read moreLOVED Batoota's Food Truck! Drove in from Toronto to sample her Dutch food! She didn't have the Dutch Box on special the day we arrived but offered to do it anyway! It was delicious and a great deal! The Dutch Box = Fried Nasi, Frikendel Sausage, and Messy Fries! Of course we also had to sample the Bitterballen and Stroopwafel from the menu, which were both perfect and so fresh! I finally stopped today because my 7 month pregnant eyes couldnt wait any longer. Oh my god the food is good. Their falafel balls/wrap are so good and their home made cookies are to DIE FOR, so good.
