LOVED Batoota's Food Truck! Drove in from Toronto to sample her Dutch food! She didn't have the Dutch Box on special the day we arrived but offered to do it anyway! It was delicious and a great deal! The Dutch Box = Fried Nasi, Frikendel Sausage, and Messy Fries! Of course we also had to sample the Bitterballen and Stroopwafel from the menu, which were both perfect and so fresh! The people are so friendly and even offered a sample of some Boerenkool (mashed potatoes and kale). We are totally going back as soon as we can!

I got the chicken shawarma wrap with fries on the side. I have to say, I am impressed! I hadn't had much luck finding good takeout in North Oshawa and Batoota's did not disappoint. The chicken shawarma was very flavourful and the fries were fresh and tasty (they didn't even need ketchup!). I will definitely visit again to try other menu items and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for good, fast & fresh eats.

Definitely a hidden gem in Oshawa! Botoota’s seems to put their own deliciously unique twist to common dishes. I tried their Falafel wrap. The portion size is generous, fresh toppings with delicious homemade sauces. I will definitely be back for this again. Their fries had a nice subtle spice blend added, which was a delicious surprise. We will be back to try more items on their menu.

I've been driving by this place for a few years now. At first it was the cool name and the food truck vibe that peaked my interest, and then I noticed the Egyptian flag. It all made sense....Batoota is an Egyptian nickname you give a little girl.

So my curiosity is peaked, but so is my hunger because I love Egyptian food.

I make it their and the menu is simple, clean and clear. Additionally. Impressed because they also serve Dutch fare.

Anyways, I ordered the kofta on salad.phenomonial.

I ordered the falafel, and my taste buds are blown away. Plus the tahini is to die for.

At any rate, I'm making this place a regular for me, and I would recommend you...

Amazing, I have passed this place for years wanting to try their food but just never making the time to stop. I finally stopped today because my 7 month pregnant eyes couldnt wait any longer. Oh my god the food is good. Their falafel balls/wrap are so good and their home made cookies are to DIE FOR, so good. Trust me I'm picky with foods more so being pregnant but this was GOOD TASTING FOOD. Definitely my summer eat...
