TL:DR- Good servers, hair in food, cold food, more of a chips salad then nachos, and under cooked steak.
Okay, I ordered chicken fried chicken, I got a side of mash potatoes and a king of seasonal vegetables , which was broccoli. Additionally, the table got a 1/2 tray loaded nachos, two 15-piece wings with poutine, and then a medium rare steak with shrimp and mashed potatoes.
My broccoli had a hair in it, my potatoes were luke warm and a very small portion, and all of our gravy was straight out of the can, cold, as in when eying the poutine nothing was melted the cheese curds were cold and when eating the fries they were warm but half cold because of the cold hard cheese curds and gravy.
Whatever things happen, we let the server know they apologized, take my plate, the 2 saucers of gravy, and the poutine.
They brought our food back. My chicken is good. The gravy is warm enough to eat and to dip the broccoli in to help, but my potatoes are ice-cold. Like slice if with a knife cold, and it holds it shape like cold butter. My friend who also had mashed potatoes that didn't send hers back was warmer than mine.
Nachos were okay. Not many actual nachos, lots of lettuce, pickledish jalapeno, and tomatoes. Cheese was okay, but the salad sitting on top made it congeal together with a little sprinkle of black beans. It came with side cups of salsa and sour cream.
The chicken wings were good, steak wasn't great and closer to rare, and the gravy wasn't warm enough to help it.
We still tipped and gave a good review because it's not the servers fault but if we didn't feel bad that servers need this to actually add to their pay because the hospitality industry is silly, we definitely wouldn't have, but we all understand that struggle.
I didn't want review to affect them, so this is my review of the food. I just brought my meal home to warm later and ate the lettuce and tomatoes off the nachos and had some of my friends' wings because they were hot.
I know this was probably just one bad moment and it's not a 5 star Michelin restaurant, but as someone working in the hospitality industry as well I can tell you making hot food on demand should've been that hard to achieve, especially because the restaurant...

Went there this evening on our way home and decided to give outdoor dining a go since it was a beautiful evening. Based on previous experiences, we decided to re-visit this Kelsey's location. we did call ahead to make sure they had room and they said they would be thrilled to have us come by. Great way to start off!
When we arrived we were escorted to our seat by the busboy Riley who recognized us from previous visits even though we were masked and commented on the fact that he was happy to see us back. This was from a young busboy and was amazing to say the least. During our entire visit, he went out of his way to ensure my wife (uses a walker) was comfortable.
Our server Carly was great and had the patience of a saint in dealing with my wife's endless questions and modifications. She earned her tip for sure and was cheerful and friendly through the entire evening. All our silly little demands were met with a cheerful attitude!
The manager Scot stopped by and also said he recognized us from previous visits and from different locations he had been at. It is so nice when you are recognized as a return customer. During the evening he stopped by on more than one occasion to ensure we (my wife) were happy with the service and meals.
This bunch should give lessons to the rest of the industry on how to treat customers. Bravo Kelseys and thank you Riley, Carly and Scot for bringing Father's Day to a great conclusion. We...
Read moreThis was a reserved party for a group of 15, celebrating a coworkers leave. The food took a very long time to come out, and when it did, it came out very slowly and some people waited even longer to get their meals. When the food was received it was cold and the quality was poor. People had to send their food back because it was not hot and missing items. I myself ordered a steak sandwich that was supposed to have bacon on it, and it didn’t. I asked to bring the bacon out, instead of making a new sandwich since our wait was so long already. The waiter brought limp, cold, fatty bacon. The sandwhich barely had any meat and was missing toppings, so at that point I said I’d like a replacement. Other guests had ice cold cheese on their poutine, poorly made sandwiches with missing toppings, chicken parm bites that were tough and nothing like the description, cold spinach dip, cold sides that clearly were sitting around before the protein was put on the plate. I think the worst part was that the restaurant wasn’t busy, so I’m not sure what the excuse would be for such a subpar meal and service. Also, no manager came to apologize to our table or offer a discount, or maybe even free dessert? A friend of ours who sat at a table behind us had problems with their food also, but fortunately for them they received a visit from the manager and had free desserts given to apologize. We will not return to this location and will be telling other...
