Wow! Wing House — Restaurant in Oshawa

I had the chance to visit Wow Wing House on their one year anniversary, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was cheerful, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The girl at the counter especially made the experience smooth, she guided through the massive list of flavors and helped narrow down what to try.

We decided to go with their Lover’s Deal, which includes three pounds of wings, a large fries, a garden salad, and dips. We opted for boneless wings (there’s a $1 extra charge per pound for boneless), and chose two flavors, Honey Garlic Parm and Sweet Heart Messy. Both flavors were delicious, perfectly seasoned, and very satisfying alongside the crispy fries and fresh salad.

A key thing to note is that currently, only the boneless wings are halal, while the bone-in wings are not. This is good to know for anyone with dietary preferences. The boneless wings were great, but I do hope in the future they expand to make the entire menu halal, that way we could also enjoy their bone-in wings, which looked very tempting.

The ambience is nice but the space is quite small, making it more comfortable for quick bites or takeout rather than a full dine in experience.

Overall, the visit was wonderful, great service, tasty wings with lots of flavor options, and a good value deal with generous portions. Definitely a spot I’d come back to, especially to try...

Ordered 2 lbs of wings and was supposed to have 2 choices of sauces. Ordered through SKIP. Wings came all with one flavour. It also did not look like 2 lbs so I checked on our kitchen scale. It weighed only 1.5 lbs in the container. I called them up and the response was to call and complain to Skip regarding the website not providing the two chices and if I would drive to them then they would give me the missing half pound. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. It was recommended to me by a friend. I ordered their wings… They were way too overcooked. I ordered Jeffna fries… I can see the appeal to some, however, my main issue is with the fries itself… The fries are just subpar normal frozen type of fries.
