2nd time and never coming back again

The sirloin was disappointing and had a weird ‘fridge’ flavor. The beef one was good at first but when I got it into a to go box and warm it up, it has a weird watery flavor. The ribs and wings were good though.

At least they fix the smell in the washrooms for my second time at this restaurant.

Also, Long story short. We wanted to use the ultimate dining card and the waitress said we couldn't and that it was written in the disclaimers at the back of the card. After reading and pointing at her it doesn't say nothing like what she explained then she ended up saying that is the restaurant policy and that the different meals are based per table and I can't pay separately. I said what about if I came with a group of friends in a large fable and we pay all separately, would you refuse the $10 discount because one person already used it even if it consider two different account? She said yes because it’s the same table. Unbelievable. I never had any issues like that in so many restaurants I have been. First time I have hear of that kind of policy. We had 2 coupons because we purchased their 2x $50 cards in December but we ended up paying $100+ despite of using 2 free dishes coupon. And she couldn't accept the $10 discount? We could have just come for the free coupon and that’s it. But we decided to consume more. This experience was ridiculous. The explanations didn't make any sense. I asked why I couldn't be considered a different table? She said she cannot change because her boss won’t allow it. Very interesting. Not in my interest at all.

By the way the free ribs from the coupon you could add wings for an addition $5 and we did it for both. So we spent in that restaurant. The $10 discount shouldn't be a big deal knowing how much we spend for the rest in food and drink. I am so disappointed at their ‘table’ management. Their internal policy shouldn't impact my payment. It isn't like I didn't consume anything and would have had abuse of discounts.

Initial review: I liked everything. The rustic decor gives a nice atmosphere.

It was nice to try the lobster rolls and the cheesecake. I got very small amount of fries but with the appetizer and dessert I was very full. So it was fine.

It was not busy when we went there so I appreciate the host letting us choose our seats. It was nice we were in our cocoon so it felt very pleasant.

We recently went here for a family member's birthday; the food fantastic, the service and the atmosphere not as great. All our food was delicious and it came the way we ordered it so that was great! The only thing, which is why the food lost a star is because there wasn't much sauce on anything we ordered and we had a table of 20 with all different dishes. Every single person had to ask for more even though with some meals, we already paid extra to "sauce it up", if you use that saying I shouldn't need to get more. The service was not great. It took forever for our order to come out (over an hour) and even though we ordered our apps ahead of time, they came out at the same time as our meals. Didn't get any refills until the end of dinner, and I didn't see the server at all. We had a few smaller children at our table and had a couple of drinks that got knocked over, tried to wave the server over for some paper towels (it had spilt on people as well as the table) but she just kept sticking her finger up, indicating one minute while she finished her conversation with another server. When she finally did bring some over, she just threw them down on the table and carried on her way, not even getting refills on the drinks spilt. The birthday singing was fun and entertaining, especially the part where you are able to snap a pic with the moose head (the reason for the extra star in service). The atmosphere was ok, we were sat right by the front door and bathrooms so there was a lot of traffic flow. The bathrooms were very dirty and smelt like urine, there was food on our seats when we got there and vomit outside the front door at the bench. Not very enticing or inviting when going out to eat. We have visited this location several times in the last 6-7 weeks. Usually as a group of 7-9 people, most Recently Sat Mar 15 . On this evening the TV's in the Bar area were so loud we were unable to talk to the person sitting directly beside us, this was also in conjunction with Music playing the in the main seating area. It was marginally better after a request to turn down the volume. We have had the same server each time (3 visits). She seems pleasant at the outset but has shown that either she doesn't understand Good Service or she is Lazy. The server stood at one end of the table to take each of the 9 person order- never once attempting to step closer to other customers at the table. We literally had to Yell to be heard. When drinks were brought to the table- WE passed them out the correct person, she only puts them at the end of the table. This same system was at play for ALL items delivered to the table. We passed out our own silverware (we got that After Appies were done) We also passed out all but 2 of the main course meals ourselves. Drink refills were few and far between- I think we were asked Once and only for the alcoholic beverage.
