Went in to enjoy a quiet dinner in my local neighbourhood. Service was pretty good. While I was disappointed with the burger patty and mashed potatoes (which were subpar) I tried not to let it ruin the meal. I asked for the drink menu and found that they were sold out of the item I was looking for. Undeterred, I decided to order something different (less expensive). When it came time to pay the bill, I noticed that I was charged $8.20 for my drink. I ordered off a menu that listed that drink as $4.85. I paid my bill—leaving a nice tip nonetheless—and when I politely brought the price discrepancy to the attention of the waitress, she was polite about it, but mentioned that they hadn't updated the menu in "I don't know how long". I was expected to just accept the discrepancy and near double price. I was not offered an apology, refund, or recourse. Apparently, I was the first person to have ever mentioned the issue. I find this type of dishonesty (price switching) to be fully unacceptable. The word "fraud" comes to mind. I understand that mistakes happen, however given the opportunity to rectify the situation, nothing was done. I expect that I will not be back and will be letting my friends know about this...

The owner is rude and greedy. When we had a tax reduction this year he immediately raised the prices. Taxes are back and he continues to keep the raised prices on already over priced food. Over a year now and the issues with the bathrooms have still not been fixed. I hope you like to pee in the dark with your knees against the bathroom door. Accessible bathroom stall has NEVER been in service. And why do they turn the heat off when customers are still dining! It's February and we're in Canada! I live in the neighborhood and have visited Quick Flame many, many times for the convince and I like chatting with some of...
