Wimpy's Diner — Restaurant in Oshawa

If you are looking for a half cooked meal with a side of germs this is the place for you! My mother and I went for breakfast and she ordered the southwest eggs benedict, the mushrooms were straight out of the can cool. Her onions were crunchy and raw. The English muffins wasn't even toasted. I ordered the twist combo, I got boiled potatoes? There wasn't a single fry make on them. My bacon was cold? Anyways we tried to eat the meal without complaining. Then a regular walks through the door and trys to give the waitress a kiss? Then she goes on to tell him she is sick as well as the cook and everyone around here is feeling under the weather. My mother and I stopped eating pushed are food to the side and asked for the bill. Over half of both our plates were left. And today of course my mother and I ARE BOTH SICK! Wimpys is my favorite breakfast place and this was the first time I came to this location and I promise it will definitely...

I'm going to be generous here and give this Wimpy's Diner a second chance given the company we had for the visit. My brother-in-law regularly visits and informed us that the slow service and one cold meal that I received was not usual. I will also say that the replacement meal was hot and delicious... Chicken and Waffle Bennies...these were delicious and I knew that even with the cold version...the hot one was worth the wait. For service, I'm giving 4 stars based on the server...they were delightful and helpful...and very friendly. We'll give it another go and update you all 🙂 Wimpy's as a chain are generally reliable...loved the original when we lived down the street.

UPDATE 1 Sorry Wimpy's Diner...it was me, it must have been my fault...was at another restaurant the next day...same results. So I'm just going to say it was just my week to endure the extended waits... I'm still smiling 😁...the food was again...

first off the staff especially the cook that made my food tonight we're absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to chat with! I am so glad to have found such a lovely bunch of people there. I noticed a lot of regulars that were repeat customers so if that doesn't say they are great I don't no what does. second the food is SO GOOD! I got the chicken parm with alfredo pasta it was the best I've had in oshawa yet. the alfredo sauce is perfect! The staff was just delightful I will be a new repeat customer the food is that good and that is saying a lot, considering I am very picky with my food. I have a really hard time finding a place I really like but I immediately new when I had my first bite thst I would be getting this again. I am going to go try there breakfast so I will update on that but my...
