🌟 Double 7 | African Bar & Grill Ottawa | Grilled Brochettes & BBQ 🌟 — Restaurant in Ottawa

My friend and I have been regular patrons of this restaurant for a long time. After today we will no longer be returning. We ordered goat and matoke. When we got home, we realized that the goat was burnt and there was barely any matoke. My friend called to let them know and they tried to make excuses that there was nothing they could do.

We went back to the restaurant (over 20 minutes from home) and my friend argued with them to replace the burnt goat and to give more matoke, since they barely provided any. The kitchen staff refused to do anything and only replaced the goat after 20 minutes of arguing with the staff while they had the owner on the phone. They refused to reimburse the matoke even after taking it back and yelled at my friend that she was no longer welcome back.

This treatment of a loyal customer is unacceptable and, despite normally having a positive experience with their food, we will no longer be returning to this establishment.

Ill start by saying they dont have free water only bottles for $1.75!! Service is terrible we ordered drinks and had to go back up to the bar to remind her. then I had more friends join us and they had to go up to the bar to order because she wouldnt come back to the table. I ordered a rum and coke (I had to describe it because she didnt know) and ended up with i think coconut rum on the rocks.
