Went there yesterday for the first time. Had my family with me at approx 2pm
There was an offer for 2 pcs fried chicken with fries and choice of sauce for 7.99$ (during lunch hours) -when I pointed at that and asked for two of those, he billed me for 9.99$ each.On asking him he said it is only during lunch hours. I didnt want to argue with his definition of lunch timings at 2pm so went along.
Got the fried chicken- as per the picture it was supposed to be kfc/popeyes style chicken and thats what I wanted- what I got was burnt non-dipped chicken legs(see picture) . It was very salty and the oil on it tasted old and it was nauseating-I am a polite person so didnt send it back. However when he asked if everything is ok, I told him it was not what we expected and pointed at the picture again. He replied, yes its different from the picture as if it explained something. I thought maybe I didnt understand what he meant and kept quiet.
No sauce choice even though I selected the combo. All I got two ketchup satchets.
The chicken strip sub (for my son) had all of one or two small strips of chicken in it, the poor thing was famished so didnt complain and ate it quietly. At the end he told me, he wished he had ordered something else. I told him that it wasnt his ordering but my expectation which was wrong
For my daughter ordered the charcoal king burger but got a regular burger with fries
They were kind hearted enough to give a homeless person a free slice of pizza and the service was just adequate so have mentioned accordingly in review
I want to support local/smaller chains but I understand the reason why people go to established chains. Expectations are met and consistency remains in other places. Now when I looked up the Mr Pizza website, none of these things except the sub(which is nothing like the picture) is on the...
Read moreWould have rated this location 0 stars but that wasn't an option. I ordered a pizza on Christmas day 2017 from the Orleans location and when I went to pick it up, they were closed. Very frustrating when the person on the phone makes you drive to a closed location. I asked to get my order transferred to this location on St Laurent as I needed these pizzas for a lunch. I had ordered a large combination pizza (8 slices) and a medium vegetarian pizza (6 slices). Upon arriving, I paid and then they gave me two MEDIUM PIZZAS. I told the owner that was not my order, that I needed a large and a medium since there's a 2 slice difference. The owner of this location was blaming me for this mistake saying that they are backed up and stressed because they are the only pizza place open that day. That is not my fault. He gave me two options. Either he would give me back the difference in cash or give me 1 extra slice. Excuse me but there's a 2 slice difference between a large and a medium! He started yelling at me saying they sell their slices 6$ a piece (which is way overpriced for the quality) and said that he will pay out of pocket for this second slice. He then told me it's because of "people like me" that he won't be open next year on Christmas. I will NEVER come to this location, nor recommend it to ANYONE. Their pizza was disgusting, and the owner's customer service was more than terrible. If you make a mistake, as the owner of a business, you NEVER yell at a paying customer or blame them. You made the mistake, you fix it. Oh, and on top of that, it was Christmas. Way to be rude to your customers...
Read moreMy son and I came for supper as we did the week before. I called ahead of time to order just want 2 sandwiches to be ready when we get there and we'll order the remaining to dine on site. When we arrived the attendant gave us 2 sandwiches and fries for $25. I told him we only ordered the sandwiches. He started yelling that what is he going to do with the fries, he already made them?? I told him that he shouldn't ask me that question, however we are willing to take one order of fries for my son, but I don't eat fries. He then made me pay $25. I didn't want to argue anymore so I paid and added $2 tip. He asked me what kind of drinks we wanted. I told him we didn't order any drinks. He actually billed us for the drinks that explains the higher cost I already paid for..I told him that it is ok, we'll just eat our meal and leave. He can keep the money. He promptly went to the cashier and grabbed $2 and some change and dropped it on the table. We ate and left the money there. What I am obsete about is that every customer should be treated with respect. No yelling, no accusations, especially for something as little as this. Yet the staff lady who took the order could still not understand that "just 2 sandwiches" is the same as "2 sandwiches only". She kept repeating"you should have said 2 sandwiches only". Does just 2 sandwiches means sandwiches with fries and drinks?? I have been going to this place for over 5 years and never had an issue until this new management came up with some attitude today. I like the sandwiches so I will not let an aggressive attitude keep me from eating...
