First off many of these reviews are enticed. We heard a server agreeing to give a 10% discount to 6 customers if they all gave reviews on the spot. The server explained he can do this on $300+ orders. My family went on a weekday evening for dessert only and it was quite busy! My husband ordered two types of kenafa (sweet shredded pastry with cheese). I ordered virgin mango margarita that did not look like the photo and was just very cold mango juice with a lemon slice on top. My son had the mango drink which was cheaper and was exactly the same but with a sprig of mint on top. The kenafa takes at least 15 minutes to bake. The ambience is alright to good but the servers were very disorganized and were running about in all direction with no particular table to attend though they did appear friendly. Tea is free but they bring it by the Arabic glass. One of the kenafa came with no cheese or ice cream on it as was indicated on the menu. It was just shredded pastry with syrup & pistachios on top. The small kenafa was good flavour but contained barely any cheese. When we told a server about there being no cheese in the large kenafa he said it’s meant to be that way. The server spoke to another employee who spoke to another as if they did not know what to do with our complaint. Then we were told they will make us another one but there will be no pistachios on it. After 20 minutes of waiting with children another kenafa came and it did have pistachios on top and lots of cheese but the oil or butter tasted somewhat rancid that I did not detect in the...

I recently dined at Aghar Turkish Restaurant and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, their attention to detail was impeccable—everything from the napkins and cutlery holders to the plates was thoughtfully arranged, enhancing the dining ambiance. The food itself was quite good, with authentic flavours that showcased the richness of Turkish cuisine. Despite the restaurant being really busy, the waiting time for both our meals and seating was surprisingly reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the service left much to be desired. While it started off strong, our server left midway through our meal, leaving our table unattended. We requested another server, who assisted briefly before disappearing as well, leaving us to fend for ourselves. When we ordered dessert, a few items were missed, which was disappointing. Additionally, one of the staff members inexplicably removed our water glasses from the table without any explanation, which felt quite strange. I also noticed several safety concerns. The floor, while beautiful, was noticeably slippery and greasy, posing a potential hazard. Moreover, cables were left on the floor, creating a tripping risk for both staff and customers. These issues could easily lead to accidents and should be addressed promptly. Overall, while the food and attention to detail were commendable, the inconsistent service and safety concerns impacted the dining experience. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a more enjoyable and secure visit...

Would give 0 star if i could , this restaurant has nothing to do with authentique turkish food..! We orderd Manti as it s very simple and also well known in the turkish cuisine ...it was a horbile kind of dumbling on top of balgan yougurt ! See picture The real manti has a specail taste and usually is served in creamy white sauce made out of yougurt and other ingrédients , you cant scoop the yougurt out of the jar and dump the manti on it ...it was aweful...any turkish restaurant that can NOT make authentique mix grill is a failure, the meat kabab was tooo fatty and tasteles, beef cubs were hard and has no taste , the chicken minced meat taste like plastic and was very hard too..the rice was soughy , burgul has an off smell to it ..now service is n other faillure ! Starting with how rude and angry the Lady wearing Gucci shoes is receiving ppl, which i assume is coowner ..u cant ask someone who enter ur place yes ! Each and everyone has an angry face ..we were served sweets over our dirty used plates ..the table was never cleaned till we paid and left..the ONLY Turkish thing about this place is the Free tea and even that one had plenty of leaves inside the cup that we had to fish ..this tastless disturbing experience was 170 dollars ..! Last but not least we had to wait 25m in our car for the table although they advised us when we called to book that there is no issue to find availabe table at that time they aslo asked us if we had booking although they told us on the phone we dont take...

After seeing numerous ads of their opening on social media, I wanted to try this new restaurant. The location is really close to my home so I went there easily. Upon my entry, there wasn’t anyone at the entrance to receive us. A moment later, a lady in white dress (maybe the manager on duty); without greeting or anything, asks: “for two?” and quickly shows us a table. The welcoming felt cold however the ambience was really warming. I haven’t seen a big LED screen, let alone two, in a restaurant. We ordered a platter for 2 which included Chicken and Beef - kebabs, seekhs, doner and some chicken wings (which they totally forgot to add in our dish). Had I not read the description, it could have easily been forgotten. The chicken kebabs were amazing. Beef was juicy but okay-ish. The doner was alright. The server insisted us to order the dips platter, which we did not want. However we got some yogurt and spicy dips which were good. The bread on the side was decently warm. We ended our meal with a small yet delicious plate of kunafa and 2 cups of rich, aromatic turkish tea (free of cost). Then we had to wait 15 minutes until our server was specially called to ask for bill. I could have reached my home in that time. He was apologetic and told me it’s busy, I understand but it doesn’t take a lot of time to get the cheque and payment. Overall a 3.5/5 experience. Huge improvement needed for service, the food was good and the ambience was amazing.
