Stopped by here to rest my legs and loved the experience! I ordered a maple oat latte, and it was delicious. The espresso itself was incredible, and made for a strong but lightly sweet, maple-y beverage. I wish this place was closer to me so I could order it more often!

The interior is very nice. I loved the giant mural under the ceiling; it’s super unique, and I had a blast looking at all its little details. Within the cafe they sell many Indigenous made artworks and other craftworks! There were bags, hair-ties, mugs… so much!

The drink menu was simple but I loved it. They offer lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based drinks along with drip coffee. Though I only tried a latte, if their drip coffee is as delicious as the espresso within my latte then I imagine it’s fantastic. If you stop by here, I’d recommend getting a coffee for sure. I can’t speak for the other drinks, but they must have AMAZING coffee beans.

They also sell some baked goods and cold bottled/canned beverages.

For amenities, there was a sizeable washroom, free internet, and I think wall plugs for those who wish to study somewhere!

All in all, a super nice experience. I wish I lived nearby so I could do my schoolwork with one of their drinks:)

EDIT: They’re also LGBTQIA2S+ friendly! It was mentioned on their Instagram when I was browsing it, and I can verify as an LGBTQIA2S+ person that I...

End of day Edit add: I find it on crazy that I posted this, which to me was my honest review of an indigenous business from another indigenous person. That the exact staff member I spoke about posted a story on her insta an than in the same day they get these 5 stars from regulars

Absolutely terrible time! My wife has wanted to visit for so long, and this 1st experience has her never wanting to return. We went 13 March 2025 Im just keeping it to point form - we dealt with the younger owner my mothing inlaw had some issues an accidentally gave 100% tip (around $54) by mistake an it was pulling teeth to get money back told the womanwe were waiting on my wife from the bathroom before we ordered an she was pushy so we ended up doing multiple transactions there was a necklace in a glass case an I asked her if i could see it an was given attitude because i didnt just go into the case an look myself -Coffee wasnt bad

All an all the person working just had attitude an for an owner doesnt seems like they want to even be working there which cool but damn drop...

A staple in our community! I absolutely love coming to Beandigen, and am always greeted by the friendliest staff. Their beverages are crafted with care, and my partner loves all the treats they serve! I can never help myself when it comes to all the beautiful crafts and handmade pieces they sell; I always leave with new earrings, stickers, etc. Beandigen and Jayde (the owner) also prioritize sharing Indigenous knowledges by hosting beading circles and workshops. They’re so patient when hosting these workshops, really allowing you to immerse yourself and appreciate the time it takes to craft such beautiful pieces. It’s such a privilege to have this business shine on our community and have the opportunity to purchase Indigenous, locally handmade gifts for family and friends. My favourite local coffee spot that always brightens my mood when I...

New indigenous owner cafe in the Landsdowne area. I tried it for the first time and i was very pleased with the experience. Coffee was great! They don’t have a lot of things to snack - they only had the Bannock and cookies (both very good!) but the owners mentioned they will be expanding their menu. I love that they sell a variety of indigenous artists items/art. It’s different then other coffee shop. The indigenous background, art and music makes you want to learn more about the culture and make us proud to be part of the indigenous culture! Wishing Beandigen Cafe a lot of success! I went here on a Sunday morning. First of all, I wanted a mocha and they didn’t have it. So I had a cappuccino. The coffee was served in a disposable cup even though I said it’s for dine in. The coffee was okay. Loved the interior work but I feel they have to employee more employees and maybe keep a suiting music to bring up the vibe. The place has a lot of good painting and sell the most expensive art pieces I have seen. There are small canvas painting with expensive price tagšŸ˜‚. There is Landsdowne underground paid parking and a few spots of street parking which is mostly filled.
