This was a Bday party we spent above $2500 total. The restaurant started off by sending us a rude email about dress code, and limitation on what food options we could get. Meanwhile they allowed total riff raf in dirty runners, ripped t-shirts, joggies and foul language to sit next to us. LOL Let's start with entrance, pretty unwelcoming, snobby. Bar on left with some dress up bartenders. Good decor, going for the greek Santorini vibe with the chill music which works well for an escape from Ottawa cold, dark and rude streets. Options in the area are another sports bar with good food. Let's start with some service, slow is the word. Generally the waitresses were polite, but slow. When food came out everyone's orders were mixed up. We didn't play musical chairs. The triplet waiters w fake Hermes belts delivered your food. LOL . Tartar was a mix of old French's mustard, pickle slices and old steak that was chopped up. Where did you get this recipe? Steak I was told was fatty, cheapest cut of meat and chewy. Presention - like a Yorkie did his business around it. Again I suppose this is acceptable in Ottawa. Fish was an old nearly out to date seabass on a bed of clams and mussels in a river of white cream and green peas. Presented better than it tasted and smelled very funky. The drinks were ok, but how hard is it pouring a glass of gin and adding an olive on top. Dessert was the morrocan orange cake which was tasty, good flavour balance, candied orange on top, slightly dusted with powder sugar. I strongly suggest a pork item on the menu. They could offer a schnitzel. Pork rollad, candied bacon.... Just a thought. Overall for the money you can compare eating at A&W then hopping for drinks to Don Cherries and with a side of wings. To leave you with an overall taste in your mouth after leaving this establishment as calling it a restaurant is an insult to McDonald's. I want you to imagine the combination of flavour of a deep fried mars bar, wrapped in haddock refried served with a butter dip. This is a strong 3/10 overall dining experience. The chill music, lounge seats, reasonable service and pure alcohol give it the 3 points. Some final remarks- If you fancy to lower your expectations for an already disappointing day, dine at Med Supper Club in Landsdowne.

Med Supper Club: A Culinary Delight From the moment we stepped into Med Supper Club, we were transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. The ambiance was electric, with music that set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. The wine selection was extensive and impressive, catering to all tastes and preferences. As a connoisseur of fine dining, I found their selection to be exceptional, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the filet mignon. Having savored this dish in numerous high-end restaurants across Ottawa, I can confidently say that Med Supper Club takes the crown. Cooked to perfection, the filet mignon melted in my mouth, leaving a burst of flavor with each bite. The accompanying sides were equally exquisite, complementing the main course flawlessly. But the indulgence didn't stop there. The seafood tower was a true spectacle, with the lobster stealing the spotlight. It ranked among the top five lobsters I've ever tasted, a testament to the quality and freshness of their ingredients. The oysters were a delight as well, adding a touch of indulgence to an already extravagant meal. The staff at Med Supper Club were the epitome of professionalism and hospitality. Their knowledge of the menu was unparalleled, guiding us through the culinary journey with expertise and enthusiasm. In summary, our experience at Med Supper Club was nothing short of perfection. From the impeccable food to the vibrant atmosphere and attentive service, every aspect of the evening exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, it's a solid 5 out of 5, and a place we'll be returning to again and again.

Dining at Med Supper Club felt like stepping onto a Mediterranean stage, where every course was dressed to impress. The setting was luxe and intimate, the kind of place where you sip slowly, speak softly, and secretly plan to order everything. (Which we did.) The journey began light and fresh — silky hummus with its sweet-savoury twist, or the vibrant horiatiki, where feta and caper berries proved that Greek salad deserved its own spotlight. For mains, each option held its own as the headliner. The chicken was tender with crispy skin and that perfect asparagus snap, while the salmon paired its saffron couscous with a tangy yoghurt kick. And the eggplant tagine? A vegetarian masterpiece, rich and fragrant with prunes and saffron. Dessert closed the curtain in dramatic fashion. The crème brûlée cracked exactly as it should — a caramelized top giving way to custard comfort — while the Moroccan orange cake, studded with chocolate and candied peel, leaned citrusy, decadent, and unforgettable. Med wasn’t just dinner. It was a Mediterranean escape in Ottawa’s heart, where every bite felt both refined and celebratory. Fancy, yes — but worth every flourish. Visited on Mother’s Day — Disappointing Experience Overall

We came here on a Sunday for Mother’s Day, and surprisingly, the place was nearly empty. The first thing I witnessed was a staff member apologizing to another customer and offering them and their family a full meal on the house — not the most reassuring sight right off the bat. That should have been our first red flag.

Atmosphere: The decor is well done — the restaurant looks modern and thoughtfully designed. The music was at a comfortable volume, allowing for easy conversation. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathrooms were messy, and the toilet paper holders were broken. What really stood out (in a bad way) was watching a server clean tables with disinfectant and then place utensils directly on the wet surface without a napkin or barrier.

Drinks: The highlight of our visit. The bartender clearly knew their craft and delivered excellent cocktails. We ordered several since we had quite a bit of time to kill while waiting for food.

Food: The food itself was decent. The appetizers were well-executed with a good variety of options. The mains were flavorful and well-prepared. However, dessert was disappointing — bland and barely touched by anyone at our table. By that point, the long wait for food had already soured the experience. And with the restaurant mostly empty, the delays were unjustifiable.

Service: This was the biggest issue of the night. We went through multiple different servers during one meal.

Server 1 ignored our request for regular water and returned with bottled water after Server 2 had already poured us tap.

We placed our drink order with Server 2, but Server 1 returned, trying to take the order again. Only two of the three drinks arrived initially. Which showed that they were either disorganized or didn't know who's table this was.

When ordering appetizers, Server 1 discouraged us from choosing the beef tartare, claiming it was bland and not enjoyable — just because they personally didn’t like it. We ordered it anyway, and it turned out to be excellent, making their comments even more baffling.

After that, both servers vanished. We had to flag down a third server, who FINALLY provided consistent, helpful service. They were attentive and professional — a rare bright spot in our service experience.

Overall: If you’re coming here, stick to the bar and enjoy a few well-made cocktails. Don’t expect timely service or a smooth dining experience. For the $600 we spent, the experience fell way short. I’ve had far better service and food quality at places like Montana’s. It's disappointing, especially for a...

Worst service and care I’ve ever received.

As I work in the foods industry, I can say this experience was absolutely horrific. I came for Friday night drinks from 8pm to 11:30pm with my partner and 3 friends.

Servers were incredibly slow to attend to us / check up on us all throughout the night (mind you this place wasn’t even busy for the amount of staff on the floor).

When a server finally attended to us to pour us overdue water refills.. a server poured too much water into my friend’s glass which created a puddle on the table (they poured me less than half a glass of water as a refill) They apologized and cleaned the puddle .. but like, they left the drenched glass filled to the brim with water for my well-dressed friend to awkwardly lower and move his head in to lick the water so it wouldn’t spill on the table again.

When cocktails arrived, my partner found a large fruit fly dead inside her drink. I flagged the older server down and explained the situation - he then grabs the drink and leaves instantly without saying a word to us to replace it at the bar. Once at the bar, he apologizes to me, only through a quick forgiveness praying hand gesture. He didn’t apologize to her or extend any courtesies for the contaminated drink once he returned with the replacement for my partner, he just left in a rush. When the bill came (handled by the same older server), we were charged for the contaminated drink as well. We paid the bill and left because we didn’t care to deal with anymore nonsense / disrespect from this establishment.

The music was hit and miss. It was house music / Afro house. I could tell it was a DJ doing it (I DJ too). The volume would fluctuate up and down between songs and during transitions. There was the occasional 1 second pause in music playing / choppy mixing due to technical error - that’s all fine. It’s just that the mids and lows were volatile which created inconsistency and occasional clipping / deafening effects for a sit down experience… if there was dancing maybe I woundnt have minded, but since everybody was sitting and trying to talk to each other, the music choice, tempo, frequency, and volume was too...
