I recently moved to Ottawa with my partner and I wanted to try Bridgehead for the first time as my partner and I are used to Starbucks (it is like our second home). We got into this branch and were served by a very nice lady at the cashier. We then sat in a corner to study and read. It happened that our seats were facing the air-conditioning which was off at the moment we got in. Few minutes later, somebody turned it on on a "cold" mode! I nicely asked the barista to turn it off since we literarily could not sit there wearing our own heavy jackets. She said: "okay", but this okay was never translated/taken into action!! Save your stomach space when it comes to food. Recently I’ve had the banana chip muffin, croissant, and chocolate chip cookie. All are exceedingly average. It feels like I’m eating food for fuel, rather than flavour. I’d liken the baked goods to the taste of Costco.

Coffee OK but food better than starbucks etc. Main issue is that they tend to fiddle too much with menu (e.g. scone selection changes monthly) - why fix what is not broken, sells well and tastes good. Mentioned this once to local staff who said they had no idea why the menu switched so much. Head office gave no reply.
