Chuck's Deli & Convenience — Restaurant in Ottawa

I was a first time patron of this deli earlier today, and I think I might become a repeat customer. I was in the area today after a pick up at the Trainyards Game Stop, and was feeling a little hungry. This was nearby, so I decided to stop by.

It was a little surprising to see this deli combined with a Dry Cleaner, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It had a few customers in front of me, so that was a bit of a good sign of this place.

In the deli, it had a very quaint "mom and pop shop" kind of vibe. I love supporting these kind of businesses. After the customers in front of me, I ordered a Turkey and Hot Cappicollo sandwich on brown bread, with mayo, lettuce and tomato. They were very generous with the meat portions, and the sandwich had a very good size.

The sandwich sounds very simple, but this was the best sandwich I've ever had! If you guys are in the Trainyards area, this is a very nice hidden gem. The staff are very friendly, and the prices are very fair. This is a nice...

I found this place by accident not long ago, thinking it was a Brown's Cleaners (which it is, but also Chuck's) and only noticed it was more by the number of people coming and going. It's a hidden gem! They are friendly and welcoming and their paninis are amazing! I'm sitting a home and debating if I have enough time to drive 20 minutes each way just to grab a panini for lunch. Too delicious! I haven't experimented much with everything else they have yet, but they also have soups, salads, sandwiches, etc., as well as a large variety of very tasty looking...

Where to start, first of all the staff there are really kind, conversational, thoughtful people, who know what's up. Secondly the food beats anything else I've tried for lunch in Ottawa. I love the paninis I've tried a few now, none disappoint. Their salads and other sides are really good as well. And a recent discovery I've made is the carrot cake cheese cake, I considered myself a cheese cake aficionado and this is the best I've ever had... Why have I never heard of carrot cheese cake before....
