Cindy's Restaurant — Restaurant in Ottawa

So this is our last day in Ottawa and we wanted a family friendly restaurant for breakfast. I am so glad we ended up here because the service was quick and the food was so tasty. I love that I didn’t have to ask for a coffee refill. She was on it. My daughter said that she’s not a fan of lettuce and usually takes it out of her sandwich, but this morning it was crispy and fresh and she inhaled her Bagelwitch. I enjoyed my eggs, sausages and potatoes. Each item had its own flavouring and you could tell it was made with love. Another thing we enjoyed was the chef coming out to say hello to the tables and even serving some of them. Definitely a homey, family friendly restaurant. So glad that we came here for breakfast....

We went in looking for some breakfast and to kill some time between a plane and a train. Our year and a half old daughter was hangry, and we had our hands full with suitcases, backpacks, and diaper bags. One of the cooks came out front to open the door for us, then gave my daughter some bacon to stave off a full blown meltdown. The other two staff were just as lovely, supportive, and patient. The food itself was terrific - perfect diner breakfast, and most items were between $6 and $16. Staff were amazing, food was incredible, and the other customers were wildly welcoming - Cindy’s obviously has a special place in the community. Can’t recommend...

Excellent breakfast and lunch spot!! Had gluten-free (gf) bread.

My wife (who is gf) was very happy to get her breakfast Bacon Club Sandwich gulten free.🤗🙌. plus, the portion was great for gf Sandwich. Bread was soft, too, not cardboard.

My breakfast was awesome as well, lots of food for the price, plus they have bake beans 🤩 which, as an English man, warms my heart. Waitress (on Saturday morning) was very friendly and nice. she was working hard too, running around. Highly recommended and will be coming back.
