We would rate higher as we do go often enough and pay between 20-40$ a visit, However, the last few times we have gone we have been observing one worker in specific and we do not like being served by her at all and also don’t like to have our food prepared by her either. Whoever the red headed girl is that works there, she could use some customer service training and perhaps a smile? She always looks miserable and looks like she couldn’t be bothered to make anyone’s orders. Tonight I was lucky enough to have my cone made by her and she gave it to me in such a minimalistic way, making me feel almost disregarded. Now I do understand that this is a fast food joint and she may serve several hundred people in a shift BUT you are the face of the company and I’d hope would want to put your best foot forward. The reason I’m bringing it up is because she is ALWAYS like this. The other reason I am rating low today, is the fact that our ice cream was hard not the soft serve that is normal for DQ. It hurt our tongues and we could literally feel the ice particles in our blizzards and cones. We also noticed a worker repeatedly dropping ice cream into the chocolate sauce as they attempted to dip cones ( now I understand why she was having such difficulty.. the ice cream is rock hard and extremely heavy)
I am disappointed because I paid for one thing (soft ice cream) and got something completely different and was treated poorly by our server. I enjoy DQ’s soft serve and hope next time i go, it will be better and hopefully will be served with a...
Read moreDo you like slow service - poor quality food - blizzards that are only filled 3/4 full - - mixed ingredients that you did not ask for? If so this location is the place for you. We bought two blizzards and a box of Buster bars. They were made so poorly I thought it must have been training day there. The blizzards were 3/4 full, if that. One blizzard also had ingredients that we did not ask for. Poor cleaning of the machines, and careless employees is the reason for this. The buster bars were so small that it was a joke given the price you pay. After contacting DQ head office we got the usual someone will get back to you reply. Someone did get back to us a week later. The response we received was a complete a total joke. We will never be returning to this location or any DQ location for that matter. During this stressful time we only go to business that value their customers and understand customer satisfaction and resolution. DQ has shown that it is NOT one of these companies. I expect a canned and impersonal response from DQ corporate. Sorry DQ, too little, too late. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else with your hard earned money! Thank you DQ, but if you really read my review, you would see that I have already contacted about this matter. They...
Read moreFor peak hours during the weekend - on the nicest, warmest day of spring so far - I was surprised to see only two staff members prepping blizzards, sundaes, and shakes (etc.). I’ve worked at a DQ in the past - I expected it to be busy from the amount of customers, not the lack of adequate staff. Moreover, they weren’t even preparing tickets in order received - customers who ordered similar items AFTER we did received theirs first, as blizzard prep cups were just lumped together on the counter and they just took whichever ones they grabbed first.
It took thirty minutes in-store to get my order of 2 blizzards, which weren’t even given lids for take-out. And because they over-filled the containers, the lids I took myself from the fountain drink section barely fit, and the blizzards proceeded to melt and leak all over myself and my vehicle.
Atrocious customer service. Learn to properly staff your store for peak hours during expected busy times. I can’t fathom what this will be like...
