Complaint Regarding Poor Treatment and Payment Issue – March 7, 2025 I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the treatment my family and I received at your Barrhaven location on March 7, 2025. What should have been a simple transaction turned into a distressing and humiliating experience due to what appeared to be a malfunction with your payment system.
After completing my purchase, your payment terminal failed to recognize the transaction, despite other customers witnessing that it had gone through. In an effort to clarify the issue, I immediately checked my banking app and provided proof that the $86.95 debit transaction had been completed. Despite my efforts and the support of bystanders, your staff refused to acknowledge the payment, withheld our food, and treated us with disrespect. This situation caused significant embarrassment for me and my family, including my two young children, who had to witness this unfortunate ordeal.
After leaving the restaurant, I provided my contact information in case further concerns arose. Later that day, I received a call from Amanat, who reiterated the same position. I again checked my banking app, confirmed that the transaction had not changed, and followed up with a screenshot of the completed payment for verification.
Upon reviewing my account this morning, I confirmed that the transaction was fully processed, showing that barBURRITO had indeed received the $86.95 payment. I have attached the transaction details as further proof.
This experience has left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. I sincerely hope that moving forward, your restaurant implements better procedures for handling payment discrepancies, ensuring that customers are not mistreated or embarrassed in front of their families and other patrons. Read moreI’m honestly shocked this place is still in business. If you’re looking for moldy food, dirty hands, and staff that treat you like garbage, then BarBurrito is your dream come true.
Let’s start with the mold in my food. That’s right. MOLD. Because nothing says “I care about my customers” like serving food that’s been growing something weird. I’m still wondering how they managed to miss that before slapping it in a bowl for me to eat.
But wait! The real cherry on top was the “supervisor” who decided she needed to snatch my phone out of my hands with dirty, unwashed hands while I was just trying to show her a menu item. Absolutely disgusting. It’s like she thought she was the queen of the world and I was the lowly peasant asking for her permission. No gloves, no hygiene, no respect.
And then, as if the universe was testing me, the manager (yes, this place somehow has managers) shows up and brings the same level of professionalism — zero. She also served me attitude instead of any kind of apology, which is apparently the standard at this location.

Ordered 2 for 1 Mild Burrito, one order of Extreme Fries, 2 Mild Chicken Bowls, 2 Sprites and Coke Zero. Total order: $80 including tip. After close to one hour the order showed up. Got only the 2 Burritos the smallest of smallest Extreme Fries I've ever seen and one Coke. For $9 we literally counted 29 fries, a trickle of sauce no tomatoes, no green onions. I asked the driver if there was another bag because it seemed that we got only half. He went back to his car and confirmed there was only one other bag and it was for another delivery. Wrote to Uber and they refunded me for the order. The issue I had was two people were without food. The driver had suggested to reorder for which I did.. THE PLACE HAD CLOSED FOR THE DAY BEING PAST 9:00 PM. What a way to ruin someones appetite. The idea of ordering out was to give me a break from cooking. Well I ended up cooking for 2 hungry people. Sadly this is my third visit at BarBurrito Greenbank and my last. Was truly disappointed.....
