Honestly worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had I don’t know what’s wrong with this place 😭. I’m very lactose/gluten intolerant so I got a burger with gluten free bread and vegan cheese with a vegan milkshake. My partner got a regular burger and fries with a beer. We tipped properly, we were polite, we went to sit down. After my milkshake came I needed water and I watched the server (glasses, long brown hair) pour water from the tap into one of those little plastic cups you get from places like coffee shops when you ask them for free water. Tap water is fine I don’t care, but the water was warm!😭😭😭 why am I getting warm tap water in a little plastic cup from a place we just spent over 60$ at 😭. But it gets worse, so our burgers come out and my partner notices my burger bun looks identical to his so we realize there’s been a mix up with the gluten free bun. He checks the receipt and sees that we weren’t charged for the gluten free bun. Okay, honest mistake maybe she didn’t hear me say it and since it’s not an allergy I can just get a new one. I go to the counter and tell her we weren’t charged for it but I asked for one and I need one, I even say it’s okay if it’s not toasted or anything (they did offer to toast it) that I can just remove the buns they gave me and put on the new gluten free buns since it’s not an allergy. She does not apologize for the mix up and says there’s a charge for the gluten free bun! Ummmm😭😭😭 she had me re-arrange my burger myself and peel off the buns for the gluten free buns and my partner had to come up to pay an extra 2.36$ for the new bun! Mind you this was the most dry and disgusting gluten free bun ever seriously I buy gluten free burger buns from the grocery store that are a lot cheaper and don’t taste so bad. The vegan cheese was good though I’ll give them that. Overall don’t eat here, I don’t know if the point of this place is to be degraded because it’s got a hipster vibe but especially if you have any food intolerances or if you just want a stress free outing go literally...

The atmosphere was clean, with nice music playing not too loudly. First time ordering here and the fries were not cooked all the way through. Some of them tasted half raw and chalky even. It was yucky. The burger looked good, but tasted funny and was not flavourful at all. Really disappointed in the quality of the food. The lettuce was the highlight. As for the service, the server ignored me even after sitting there for a few minutes waiting for her acknowledgment. I had to ask if I could order since she looked "busy" cleaning the counter with her back to me the entire time. Without looking at me, she stood at the cash and took my order while she keyed it in, while I was sitting at the other end of the counter. That was strange to have to order from halfway down the counter. I didn't know whether she wanted me to get up and go to the register to order? There was only one other couple who had been served already so it's not like it was busy. Seemed like she didn't want to bother, like she was in her own zone. It was weird actually. I will not eat there again because I like quality food and I certainly won't tip for poor service. This was not what I had hoped for. Very poor customer service and food was just not good...

I went into this place the other day as it's a new burger joint in the area that I ought to give a try and I was disappointed by everything this place had to offer especially with the staff. They weren't all that friendly toward me and I had to wait a little while to order since everything else had a much higher priority than the customers which is weird since were the ones keeping this place running essentially. The kitchen guy in the back with the accent was the most disrespectful guy I have ever encountered, he was super unfriendly and gave me a nasty attitude and I am pretty sure it was because I am a woman. If you're going to hire people make sure they aren't rude and off-putting like him. I think you need a new guy to run the kitchen cause he is not it. If you're thinking of trying this place, don't it's not worth it. They hire rude and off-putting people plus the food isn't that good either, you're better off going to Five Guys or some other fast food place this one is too expensive and it...

I recently visited Edinburger, and I must say, it left quite an impression. My burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the meat was undeniably fresh. The portion size was just right, leaving me completely satisfied. Not only is the food great, but the place itself is charming. I loved the art they displayed on the walls; it adds a unique and enjoyable vibe to the dining experience. Plus, pay close attention to their clever logo, which substitutes one of the letters with a burger - it's a fun touch that caught my eye and added to the place's charm. The service was really good, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They made sure we were happy with everything, which truly enhanced the overall dining experience. If you're a burger enthusiast like me, Edinburger is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic burger and milkshake!

EDIT: We have eaten here many times, and they surely deserve the 5-Star rating. Burgers are amazing, and the fries too. They sell local craft beer (that I haven't tried yet). ORIGINAL RATING: I haven't even been inside, and already I want to give them a 5-star rating. Why? Because they opened on the day they promised they would. Because their menu (with the price list) went up online as soon as they opened. Because the prices are reasonable. Because this neighbour needed a burger place. I was watching their website timer day-by-day and it opened like they said on Friday, 1 Sep 2023. Welcome to the neighbourhood!

Solid chicken burger that wasn't over fried with a ton of batter. The sauces are good, I loved the spicy pickled relish type thing that was on the table. I do like to see a beef patty that wasn't so cooked as to keep a bit more juicy flavor, this one was close. The patty itself could have been spiced a bit better but the condiments on it made up for that. Really great fries, would go back just for the fries and atmosphere. This is the type of burger joint that Ottawa needs more of rather then the fast food ones all over the place.
