Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Ottawa

Best thing I can say about these burritos is they're edible. But I will not be back. The "Huge" burrito is the size of a medium at the competition's place.

I had a steak burrito. I have never eaten dog food, but this is what I would guess it tastes like. Overly salted mush. I was looking forward to juicy strips of steak and instead got something that's so decomposed, I don't even know if it still qualifies as meat. How did they make burrito meat dry?? I wonder if the meat was frozen and microwaved.

My boyfriend had a ground beef burrito. He says the meat in his burrito is dry, as well, and it wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese. He says it's not the worst burrito he's had, but it definitely isn't anywhere near the best.

I still haven't finished my lil' burrito because I'm so disappointed in the low quality. It most definitely was not worth what it cost.

This used to be my favourite burrito place but tonight I will no longer be returning. I placed an online order tonight on August 5 2023 around 7pm for 2 burritos and 1 burrito bowl. When I arrived to pick it up, I told the girl at the counter that I had an online order for pick up. She responded with “door dash?”. I told her no it was an online order. She repeated “skip the dishes?”. I repeated that it was not and that it was an online order. This back and forth continued for 5 minutes. She gave me the famous black bag and I didn’t think to check but went home. When I opened it, it was 3 burrito bowls. I had also asked for mild and they were def not mild. They need to hire staff that know what they are actually doing or train them properly. How hard is it to do an online order. Lastly, if you are working in an establishment you should be able to converse in english with more than 2 words...

Just had an order delivered, delivery took three minutes so all of this was on the restaurant, not the driver.

The food arrived as a mess in the box, on top of being built improperly. Who buries ALL the other ingredients UNDER the beef in a taco? The menu doesn't show this so I am not sure why they are being constructed like this.

Worse though, the food was ice cold. The LETTUCE was the warmest part of the meal. I basically just had mexican leftovers for lunch, which would be fine if I had made them myself the day before but I just ordered this. Why isn't it hot and fresh? Truly disgusting practices and some of the lowest quality standards I've EVER seen in ANY restaurant....
