Update: I've gone 5 more times since I initially wrote my review and I love the other subs I've had. I tried two more since then, my favorite is the Smokehouse Brisket. Food is definitely a 9/10 and the staff is amazing still. To begin; from the moment you walk in you're greeted by both the staff and the very modern and attractive look of this restaurant. Once it came time to order the staff were both friendly and helpful. The foods appearance is very attractive and the taste was not bad either however the meatball sub I had wasn't anything too special, it'd probably land a 7/10 on its own. However, that being said the bread was extremely soft and light which impressed and surprised myself and my companion. My companion had ordered a smoked brisket sub and was very impressed. I tried some as well and found it to be very good as well. Thus, I feel as if other subs may have given me a better experience in that department but it still wasn't close to bad by any means. Lastly I wanted to touch on the management. The manager or supervisor can be seen walking throughout the restaurant and engaged in a conversation with us as to where their bread is made and was very kind. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and I wouldn't mind giving it a try again.

Editing my review (again...). Big ol MEIH! Recently got a Hook and Ladder (Hot Ones version) and an Engineer. Here's how it went: - 40 minutes to assemble the sandwiches. It was dead inside so I don't get how it took that long to make 2 sandwiches. - Did not follow any of the instructions (no extra pickles, extra onions, pickle spears). - Didn't include an extra purchased pickle ($0.99!). - Sandwiches were cold and the engineer actually was soggy at the bottom. - Both sandwiches were very poorly assembled (meat was all at one side). My original recommendation of skip this Firehouse Subs location and go somewhere else is back (unless you like soggy sandwiches).

First time here, so I checked out the impressive menu! A lot of choices. I never eat hot subs but decided to give them a try! Ordered a steak and cheese sub. Medium size and the sub offered beef, peppers, onions mayo and deli mustard. The sub is a decent size served with a pickle. My sub was unfortunately lacking in condiments. The mayo and mustard were non existent. I spoke to the manager and they were very nice and invited me back to try again and they apologized. The meat and cheese along with the Caramelized onions were done right and the buns are absolutely delicious. I will be back as I enjoyed most of the meal and I enjoyed the atmosphere!

Dropped by in the evening after hearing great things about this place for their hot subs. Unfortunately I was just so disappointed by the service and subs.

I dropped by in the evening on my way home and there were a lot of staff on floor, 5 people in the front area alone, maybe more in the back? Anyhow, most were cleaning and despite being in line and trying to order, they just ignored me when I came in. Staff obviously noticed me but nobody bothered to get someone to help take my order. Took some time before someone finally came around. The same thing happened to this couple who came in after me and they didn't greet or say anything to them either. I'm not sure if this is because they were closing in one hour, but they weren't exactly friendly or eager to have our business.

Moving onto the subs, I ordered two large subs, a steak and cheese and an Italian sub. Looking at other reviews, their Instagram where they share photos and the ones I got, I can't help but notice these were made carelessly despite them taking 20+ minutes to make and assemble them. Toppings were not evenly spread across the bun for both and they absolutely drenched/flooded my Italian sub to the point of the bottom bread being soaked in their sauce with a heavy pool of sauce on the bottom of my takeout container. This made the bread just mushy, messy and falling apart and I don't think this is normal based off other photos I saw.

Overall, taste wise, they actually taste pretty good! Quality of ingredients is there, it just lacks the love. I just think it could have been so much better if the staff had better customer service and they put more care into making the sub. Especially at the elevated price point, I...

The food is great....many repeat visits...however we have no choice but to no longer return. The orders we placed were made incorrectly on three consecutive visits..even when ordering pickup via skip the dishes. Things like paying extra for mushrooms on our steak subs and not getting them and a sub we ordered cold and untoasted that was made the opposite each time. The staff even refused to remake the wrongly made sub citing the cost of the ingredients. I stopped in to discuss with the owner who at no point offered to remedy the situation..nor did he even apologize. He simply advised that without a receipt i had no right to complain...threw his hands in the air and said what do you want me to do. Friendly..yes..delicious..yes professional..not so much.
