Been going here for a year now. I work at Costco next door. Was fine to give my business until about a month ago when I got an egg sandwich which was green & nasty. I got my money back but the manager was clearly not happy about it.
Ever since then, whenever I go through the drive-thru with my co-worker when we carpool, I am refused making two orders. I asked to speak to the same manager that refunded my green egg sandwich & she double-down, choosing to argue with me, wasting more of her precious drive-times rather than put one coffee on a separate order so my colleague could pay for himself. I have worked at Timmies so I know it's not an issue, I have ordered 2 seperate orders at other Timmies, even this one when the manager is not around so i know it can be done. But now this location refuses to even have a coffee on a separate order because they 'want to protect their drive-times...'
Their suggestion was to drive through the drive-thru again to make the order or come inside. Why? What is the point besides inconveniencing me, the customer. I don't care about your drive-times. I have been refused two separate orders everytime I car-pool since November.
As a result you've now lost me and my co-workers business. We will go elsewhere. If this is store policy, it's awfully stupid. A manager should be able to manage her team efficiently enough to make the product on time and ensure it is delivered to the window fast, regardless of one or two orders being made. I as a customer do not need to help you with your drive times. Clearly this places' management is so poor to the extent they need the customer to help keep their drive-times low.
Avoid this location if you are a family on the road looking for multiple orders, they will refuse you. Avoid their breakfast sandwiches unless you like green, overcooked eggs. Avoid their coffee in the morning, more often than not it is awful. Either too creamy or not enough. Does the team struggle making coffee? Is that why they demand I don't make 2 orders of coffee because their drive-times will be too long. How hard is it to run your store? Do better.
Sincerely, Former Supervisor of Trim &...
Read moreSome of the most incompetent staff I've ever met. I ordered two breakfast combos in the drive thru and paid. They then asked if I could park out front and they would bring my order to me soon. I sat and waited over 20 mins, watching car after car come and go through the drive thru. I saw people park and go in and come out with their orders and yet no one had brought me mine. I eventually decided to go in and ask about it. Their excuse was "we have a lot going on" but when I went through the drive thru there was no one behind me. And when I went in there was only one person waiting on her order. I asked for a refund because this was wasting my time and I have places to go. They ignored me and kept making other drive thru orders. I had to ask a second time after waiting another 5 mins. Then they didn't even give me the correct amount back. If you ever are in the Drive-Thru and they tell you to park out front, tell them "no" Tell them you're going to stay there until they bring your order because if not they'll never bring it to you. Tim Hortons has been getting worse and worse over the years. Not everyone there is incompetent, I usually have a good experience, there is normally a man who takes my order and calls everyone "boss"he is friendly and gets the food to me quickly. But the young ladies that were working this time were horrible and slow and just make up lies as excuses. They should have said "I'm so sorry we forgot about your order, let me make it for you right now" instead of giving people who showed up 20 mins after me their...
Read moreSo I'm here quite often in the mornings, never really have a problem. Food is alright, not perfect, as expected for fast food. Some of the staff are nice, some are not as nice but considering possible cultural differences. But this one particular woman, short, older, white and light/dark hair. Especially rude and ignorant to me and the women in front. Giving the women a hard time and responding rudely because her gift card wasn't working. As well as myself, when i ordered my sandwich, i forgot to add mayo on it. It wasn't busy. I knew i had to pay for it. I went up to her and said, "i forgot to add mayo to my order. Do you mind if i pay for it. She responded with ignorance that i was a customer complaining and that she was annoyed and didn't want to serve me after the correction. Listen, i know it's not the best job in the world, but it's early morning, we are the week of christmas. A little respect towards customers would be nice. Considering the holidays are hard on customers too and not just employees. If you hate your life and your job, make a change and not make everyone...
