Gabriel needs to take this pandemic more seriously and educate their franchisees on the protocols of curbside delivery....
I ordered a Pizza online April 12th for curbside pick up
Your website clearly states: "For everyone’s safety please follow the curbside pick-up instructions posted at each location."
However when I arrived at your location at 6081 Hazeldean Rd, Stittsville there were NO signs posted anywhere in regard to Curbside Pick up.
So I looked through the door window and the person inside waved for me to come in so I waved back at him to com out.
He opened the door and told me to come in and I said I am here for a curbside pick up and he said "What is Curbside pickup"?
I told him that he is supposed to bring the Pizza to my vehicle and he said "That's not my job"
Then I explained that your website indicates that you offer Curbside Pick up, to which he once again said "What is that, I don't know what you mean"
So I pointed at my vehicle where I already had the trunk open for him and asked if he could please put the Pizza in the trunk.
Then with an attitude he complained that I was now making him come outside and walk 20ft to my vehicle.
I told him that with all that is going on in this world he should know better and should be doing this without hesitation.
He then walked away and sarcastically said "ya, ya,have a nice day"
I am very disappointed that I had to go through this fiasco and I am applaud at the attitude I was given when I requested that he put the pizza in the trunk of my vehicle... that it totally unacceptable in this time of crises
I will not be ordering from Gabriels again if this is how you deal with people during these...
Read moreOrdered pizza last night and went to pick up at the restaurant. Many of the staff members were not wearing a mask at all or wearing it on their chins with their noses exposed. When I asked one of the staff members why they weren’t wearing masks I was told it was because the delivery drivers are running in and out of the restaurant. I dislike wearing a mask as much as anyone else but I also respect the rules. So when I walk in as a customer and put on a mask because your store has a sign saying it was required you can imagine how frustrated I was to see there’s a double standard.
Pizza and food was good, this just soured my experience. I actually would have gave this five stars but this really ruined the overall experience of enjoying take out. I may revisit the store in the future and if I see an improvement I will revise this rating. If nothings changed I’ll likely just call Ottawa Bylaw instead and keep my review...
Read moreI’ve been ordering from them for years, and no complaints… up until a few weeks ago. A few weeks ago, we ordered a pizza, and when it showed up, some of the cheese wasn’t melted on it! That was a first! We put it down as an anomaly and moved on. On Friday, we decided to treat ourselves with another of Gabe’s pizzas. When the order hadn’t showed up 20 minutes after it should have arrived, I called the number and was transferred to the supervisor who checked on it for me. When they got back to give me the info, they abruptly hung up after telling me “it’s on the way”; super rude customer service! The order was a half hour late showing up, no apology from the driver, who just shoved the pizza into my hands and walked away. The pizza was stone cold when we got it.
I won’t be back. Something has changed there and it’s not crave...
