Lucky Dragon Delight — Restaurant in Ottawa

We called to order food. My mother asked if there was a cost to switching out an item in the 6 person dinner. They said there's a 1$ switch out fee. My mom said maybe as they're more expensive than a local competitor they could switch it out at no cost. The lady on the phone got extremely rude and condescending saying if we want quality we have to pay for it and then hung up abruptly.

My mother called back and asked why she hung up on her and to try and complete the order, the lady was immediately rude and said she put the order through. Even though she had hung up on us. My mom told her to cancel it and the lady hung up again.

Reading all the other reviews I'm amazed this place is still operating.

They also seem to nickel and dime customers on everything, including if you want them to bring a card machine on a delivery.

Wild how rude she was, and that this isn't a new issue and they still have her...

My wife and I have to express extreme displeasure in an experience a few years ago. After ordering a special birthday large order (delivered), we had one item missing (for our 8 year old niece with allergies). We called back and was questioned if it was really missing. They said we can pick it up. I said we are eating and delivery would be appreciated. After a lot of haggling, it was finally delivered an hour or so later. I went the next day in person to express my displeasure seeking an apology or at least an acknowledgement it was missing. The lady (owner I think) was not understanding, did not apologize and bluntly said "We do not need your business - we have enough customers". Hmm. Have not been there since. Good luck with an attitude like that in a competitive food...

Lucky Dragon we love you! You guys truly amaze us every time, we order from you guys every week. My mother was delighted by the food on Mother’s Day. I was reading through the other reviews... and would like to say to other future and current customers that if you plan on ordering on days like Mother’s Day and Christmas etc. Please order in advance cause I’ve noticed that they are EXTREMELY BUSY on those days. So don’t complain in the comments if you call during the rush cause no shi*t it’s going to be a long wait. Like stop being impatient little children and come running over to the reviews to complain how unprepared you were. Anyways, my family loves lucky dragon and hope success and good...
