Go4Greek — Restaurant in Ottawa

My wife and I were given a credit in September due to the establishment over charging us for our previous order. The owner sent us via email a credit for 15.00. My wife and I placed an order this evening and when my wife arrived to pay for the order and use the credit the horror story began. The owner stated that the credit had already been used. My wife calmly as a respected/honest Barrhaven resident stated that we had not used the credit. First of all we would never try to take 15.00 dollars away from any business however we would like to be credited for what we were overcharged for from a previous order. The owner then began to belittle/shout at her in front of his employees calling her a liar and to never step foot in his establishment again. My wife was flabbergasted at the way she was being treated, especially from an owner of a small business that we have supported through this covid crisis. We have been, like many others very supportive to our small businesses in Barrhaven however this type of action by the owner has really made us think if these owners really care about their patrons. We would never look for anything for free. This owner was very unprofessional and I will never support his business again. I have heard from several others that this owner is very condescending and that they would never support his business, however I had not had any issues prior to this evening. Well let me tell you the owner's true colors came out tonight and to speak to any woman the way he did is very worrisome. Please avoid this establishment unless a man is picking up the food. Not so sure this owner would have spoken to me the way he did to my wife. Try and explain to your kids why their mother comes home upset after going to pick up a family dinner. We have always supported Tony from Cosmos on Greenbank as well. We will ensure from now on that we drive the extra 10 minutes to receive better greek food and owners that appreciate our business. Go for greek has no face masks from any working employees as they are sweating all over your food. The city of ottawa By-law will be stopping by periodically to fine all that are not following ottawa covid by-laws. STAY AWAY FROM GO4GREEK BARRHAVEN. I used to really love this place. So much so that when we moved 30 minutes away, I would still make it a point to drive here for dinner. I am not sure what changed but the last three times we ordered I noticed the food was no where near as good as it used to be. I added it up to there being someone new cooking. The final straw was last weekend when I picked up the mixed grill special for four, only to realize that the portion sizes have been greatly reduced. The containers are much smaller than they used to be and it was not enough for 4. I ended up having to grab a chicken and salad to go with it. That will be my last time here. I am now looking for a Greek restaurant...

I’m giving a 3 because normally they are so good, I love their chicken salad- tzatziki is amazing. I ordered a salad from Uber eats and the amount of salad dressing that was on my salad was astonishing. This isn’t the first time me or my roommate have thought they put too much- but this time was unreal. I wonder how they make money with the amount of dressing they use?
