In search for weekend brunch this place came up we thought of trying it out. Parking in streets is not existent. Had really look at side streets a bit far to get one. All the nearby spots are reserved for the apartment dwellers in the building. Ordered a Huevo Ranchero ($16) - which came with scrambled eggs two corn tortillas with salsa, cheese, sour cream and a side order of fries. The eggs could have used some seasoning even with salsa it needed something extra A Vegan Breakfast Bowl ($14) - a mixture of tofu, spinach, mushrooms and tomato chutney - which somehow tasted to all 4 of us like onion chutney. The vegetables done good, but tofu again had just no flavour. Tofu had a spice rub all over, but it tasted like plain tofu. The Bacun strips were rice paper rolls with some attempted flavours but none came through. And two Vegan Bennies ($16) - a super grainy slice of bread topped with the same tofu, green onions, Bacun and some red pepper strips (NOT Coulis as described in the menu). If some person was having a tofu dish for the first time I think they would describe tofu as no flavour at all. We vegans know that you can do amazing things with Tofu. The home fries in the above dishes was the best - now that we could give 5 out 5. All of us had to go and get Sriracha and Ketchup from the counter to rescue the dishes. Coffee was too weak as well. When you go in and order on the counter and you get food delivered to your table. Should the restaurant still offer to tip on the machine BEFORE even we were served? The order did take a long time, the table not clean when we sat, no condiments on the table and coffee refills slow. An extra star for giving tons of vegan options

EDIT: I just wanted to update this review. Karen got in touch with me to give their spot another chance. That day we had went, they were swamped with orders which they didn't anticipate. We had 2 BLT sandwiches as well as their Mango Lassi. Both were delicious and amazing. Karen, the owner, really cares for her restaurant and went out of her way to try to rectify the situation below. Definitely give them a try if you get a chance! Original Review: I was excited to try out this little shop since its relocation. The staff are very kind and helpful, even during the COVID epidemic. Unfortunately, my partner's and I experience with their Canada Day brunch left a lot to be desired. The entire meal was way to salty, so much so, neither of us could finish our meals. The potatoes and sausages were were over seasoned. The bacon was poorly cooked. My pancakes had lumps of dried flour throughout its entirety which was very disappointing. I understand that pancake batter is left lumpy on purpose, however never have I ever experienced dried flour in a cooked pancake. I had really high hopes for this place and wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning.

Went for lunch at 11:30 and the lineup was starting to form. Staff is well organised so it doesn't take very long for your order. Their menu changes weekly so checkout their website. Also, it will be changing owners on Jan 8, 2018. Ordered two sandwiches (pork & beef) that are described below. The size was very generous. I really liked the beef, and the pork was OK. I found the cucumbers and sauce overpowered the pork. PORK Hoisin pork: slow-cooked pork, Hoisin sauce, cucumber, green onion & carrot slaw, crispy noodles, and greens. $8.5 BEEF Crispy ginger beef, spicy sauce, Asian slaw and greens. $8.5 Tried their lemon, caramel, and chocolate donuts. The dough is nice and soft, but I didn't like the lemon or caramel filling very much. The chocolate was good. Last item was the chocolate banana nut bar. This is a MUST. Very tasty! One last thing I wasn't crazy about: Wanted to order coffee after eating the sandwiches to enjoy with the desserts, but was asked to stand in line again. I wish there was a separate line/area where you can order coffee/beverages so you're not stuck behind the big lineup of people ordering their lunches.

Can't say it was my favourite place, it was my mistake though. I took the miso teriyaki chicken which came with cooked Bok Choy, I just didn't expect so much of it. I opted for the wrap. I didn't like it because the sandwich was very dry. The wrap is thick but holds poorly when wet by the Bok Choy leaves and didn't take very long for my fingers to start poking through as I ate. There wasn't enough condiment in the sandwich or much going on really, it was just a generous amount of chicken, which was tasty, with a lot of Bok Choy and maybe 3 green onion slices. Every time I had an onion bite, my wrap improved greatly. I'm not sure what could be added to this sandwich, maybe remove the miso and add different vegetables? It basically tasted like a plain stir fry in a wrap.

Price was good, it was pretty large sandwich. The seating area is a bit dark and the menu was just a piece of paper. I wasn't sure where to look to order until I saw the page on the ordering counter so if there's a long line you wouldn't be able to decide ahead of time. The desserts looked great but wasn't hungry for anything else after my wrap.

I liked the option of lemon water but the dispenser is incredibly slow at pouring.

There's a lot of large tables to sit at but very little small group tables. Was a bit awkward to pick a spot to sit.

Additionally I was thinking of ordering a drink but the fridge with the options was too far away and dark to see what was on display.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be...

Title: Unforgettable Dining Experience at Good Eats Cafe

Review:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From the name itself, Good Eats Cafe sets high expectations, and trust me, they deliver!

My numerous visits to this delightful cafe have been a gastronomic adventure. The menu at Good Eats is diverse, offering a wide range of options from hearty breakfasts to satisfying lunches, and delicious dinners.

One of the standout features of the cafe is their commitment to freshness. Each dish bursts with flavor, showcasing the quality of their locally-sourced ingredients. Whether it's the fluffy pancakes served with a side of crisp bacon for breakfast, a delectable sandwich for lunch, or a beautifully cooked steak for dinner, Good Eats Cafe never disappoints.

Their beverage selection is just as impressive. From fresh fruit juices to exquisite coffees, and a thoughtful selection of wines and beers, there's a drink to pair perfectly with any meal.

The atmosphere in Good Eats Cafe is warm and inviting, with a decor that strikes the perfect balance between chic and comfortable. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and happy to offer recommendations or accommodate any dietary restrictions.

Additionally, the prices at Good Eats Cafe are reasonable, especially given the high quality of food and the...
