We were hankering for a good quality burger for lunch and All Out Burger on Gladstone showed up on our Google maps as a place close to us. The menu looked really interesting and so we gave it a try. We were BLOWN AWAY.

We were greeted by the cook as we walked in and he clearly knew it was our first time. He gave us a few minutes with the menu before he came over and gave us some great recommendations after he checked that the Mac and cheese burger I wanted was out of stock. When we got our order, wow…we got a mozzarella burger, the all out poutine and cheese hot dog. The cook even offered to cut everything in half which is exactly what we were hoping for!! The burger itself is fresh, juicy and had that really nice, thin crust from being on the grill. The bacon on the hot dog was broken into small pieces to fit the hot dog, but you can tell it was a big piece of bacon if it weren’t broken up. We also made an order mistake and ordered the all out poutine instead of the tater tot poutine, and when we asked about whether the mistake was ours, he offered to make us a new one! We declined because we already had so much food in front of us, but then the cook surprised us with a small sample of their tater tot poutine. It was definitely as good as it sounded. The tater tots were super crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. For both poutines, I have to say, the fries are exceptional, thick cut, crispy on the outside, very light salt (I don’t like overly salted fries) and the gravy was smooth and flavourful.

We will definitely be going back there again. The service was delightful and a great highlight, but the food itself and the price for the amount of food you get (we spent $52 and got enough food to feed 4 people - needless to say we brought home leftovers) is worth the trip.

The only thing that could have improved was that it was hot in the restaurant, but it’s a small place and it was very hot today.

Overall,...

If you want "normal" polite service, avoid this restaurant. But if you like complications, arguments and quarrels with badly educated guys, I advise you to go to this restaurant. Because it's the perfect place. Personally, I would never set foot there again, ever.

I order, specifying that I don't want spicy chicken. I tell them that because twice in the past they messed up and gave me spicy chickens. The guy at the checkout takes the order and we wait quietly. At that moment, another guy accuses us of lying (!!), saying it only happened once and not twice. I explain that it happened indeed twice, once in an order on the phone, a second time in person. But the guy, instead of preparing the order, leaving us alone and making us feel at ease like any professional does, begins to confuse us. I really don't understand what's happening to him. I have never seen such a rude and disrespectful guy in a restaurant. First he accused us of lying, then he harassed us and complicated a simple quiet order. Instead of apologizing and being kind to customers, he justified himself and created a mess. We had to cancel our order and leave angry. In any case, the behavior of the guy disgusted us with this experience. Apparently he's known for that, see the...

I had lunch here for the first time today. I had the Cheesburger/french fry/drink combo for $15.25 plus tax.

Upon first impression, the guys at the counter were talkative and friendly. The room was a little cold (Feb) so the coat had to stay on. There is street parking only (free). The dining area is very small with only three tables so I assume most of their business is takeout/delivery. The food came up quickly and presentation was excellent with the burger half-wrapped in foil. The fries were a bit dark but still tasty, plump in size and plentiful. I wasn't seriously hungry so I didn't expect to finish my meal but couldn't stop eating! The burger was very good and the fries as well. Soda is offered in plastic bottles which was refreshing to see rather than as a fountain drink. I didn't notice any bathrooms, although you may have to ask to access one in the back - I don't know. There were none in sight. Oh yeah, the guy at the table next to me ordered some sort of a Buffalo chicken burger and I could not get over how large it was. I would definitely return again just for the burger or to check out that chicken burger! It was worth the visit and a fair value for...

I had been wanting to try All Out Burger for over a year before finally giving it a shot, now that the Gladstone location is open! I called ahead to order a large poutine and was trying to decide if I should get anything else with it. When the staff member who answered figured out I was a first-timer, he took the time to go over the best burgers on the menu, explaining in detail the toppings on each. I was feeling indecisive, and told him that I’m pregnant and trying to decide what sounded best to me right in that moment, and that I didn’t want onions on whatever it was. He then enthusiastically said “Oh, you’re pregnant?! Then you want the All Out Burger with pickles!” I felt VERY seen, and very excited. I had great service when I arrived to pick up my gargantuan meal (that lasted for a few servings as tasty leftovers!), and felt the enthusiasm these men have for what they do. Let me tell you… it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Poutine was exactly what I needed — proper gravy, great cheese curd ratio, and the fries were on point. The burger was giant and delightful and so so so good! 12/10 would recommend.

Considering myself somewhat of a burger enthousiast, I was eager to try some of Ottawa's best offerings while visiting the city. It didn't take long to come across All Out Burger. Let me cut to the chase and tell you that this is not only the best burger joint in Ottawa, but possibly in Canada entirely. I've had and tried hundreds (if not thousands) of burgers over the last few years, and All Out Burgers easily takes the cake. This is what a burger restaurant should be like. Large selection, without being confusing or overwhelming, fresh ingredients, excellent buns, options for both meat lovers and vegetarians, fast & friendly staff. Special shoutout to Ali and the younger lad working the kitchen (didn't catch his name). We tried the Spicy Chicken burger, Fried Mozzarella burger, and Haloumi burger. All 3 were 10/10, which is honestly mind-blowing. The fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly for a crispy outside but tender inside vibe. I wish All Out Burger was available in my own province, but until then, I will make sure to return whenever I'm in the area!
