Want real authentic Mexican food, this is it! This is your local Mexican food. Service was horrible, people came in and left after 5 minutes because no one greeted them or gave them any attention as you can hear the waiters in the back having fun with the cooks. Back to the food, food was great reminded me of that typical street vendor Mexican food, not that overly priced overly processed Mexican food, flavours were there, quality was decent, size of plate was okay. We ordered most of the tacos to try every kind, they did not have burritos available. We tried their “nachos” but they didn’t have any guacamole so a fresh pico de gallo came with it. Mean meals were good, dessert was unfortunately disappointing, flan was not fresh nor done properly, it didn’t even move, it was a solid flan. The churros were raw in the middle making it inedible which was sad and had to be removed from our bill. Overall it was satisfying but my recommendation is that the owner pays more attention to its clientele, seeing three tables leave before even being greeted was awkward and a huge loss of income. 100000% must try! My new favourite taco spot in Ottawa, will be back soon! These are some of the most delicious and authentic “street tacos” in Ottawa! Being Mexican I’m always on the look out for authentic and reasonably priced tacos and this place hits the spot! The service we had was fantastic and our waiting time for takeout was not bad despite their only being open for 3 days and having only a couple people in the kitchen (so please be patient, it’s worth it, I promise!!)

My bf and I had a mix of tacos from the menu (almost one of everything) and were extremely impressed by how delicious and filling they were! Very glad to have discovered what I consider to be the most authentic taqueria in Ottawa. The tacos take me back to my trips and time spent in Mexico and the delicious street food I always enjoyed. Authentic cuisine, extravagant flavors, heart felt and impecable service. Traditional beverages and menu choices make for an exceptional dining experience that makes me reminisce of the pastel hillside villas of Guanajuato. 100% recommend the quesabirria and carnitas.
